We claim: 1. A polymer particle, wherein the polymer particle comprises a reaction product of a prepolymer solution comprising: A) at least one polyether, a glycerol monomethacrylate, and an amino ethyl methacrylate; or B) at least one polyether, an amino propyl methacrylamide, and a sulfopropyl acrylate. 2. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the polymer particle is a spherical polymer particle. 3. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the polymer particle has a diameter less than about 1,200 μm. 4. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the polymer particle has a diameter between about 40 μm and about 1,200 μm. 5. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the polymer particle is a spherical polymer particle and has a diameter between about 40 μm and about 1,200 μm. 6. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the polymer particle is a desiccated polymer particle or a hydrated polymer particle. 7. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the polymer particle comprises a reaction product of a prepolymer solution comprising: the at least one polyether at a concentration of between about 15% w/w and about 50% w/w and an initiator in an oil. 8. The polymer particle of claim 7 , wherein the prepolymer solution is an aqueous prepolymer solution, the oil is a mineral oil, and the initiator is ammonium persulfate, tetramethylethylene diamine, or a combination thereof. 9. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the polymer particle comprises a reaction product of a prepolymer solution comprising: A) poly(ethylene glycol) 10,000 diacrylamide, a glycerol monomethacrylate, and a 2-amino ethyl methacrylate; or B) poly(ethylene glycol) 10,000 diacrylamide, an n-(3-amino propyl) methacrylamide, and a 3-sulfopropyl acrylate. 10. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the at least one polyether is a derivatized poly(ethylene glycol), poly(propylene glycol), poly(tetramethylene oxide), or a combination thereof. 11. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the prepolymer solution does not comprise n-isopropyl acrylamide. 12. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the sulfopropyl acrylate is 3-sulfopropyl acrylate. 13. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the prepolymer solution further comprises at least one of the glycerol monomethacrylate, the amino ethyl methacrylate, the amino propyl methacrylamide, or the sulfopropyl acrylate at a concentration of about 50-80% w/w. 14. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the prepolymer solution further comprises at least one of the glycerol monomethacrylate, the amino ethyl methacrylate, the amino propyl methacrylamide, or the sulfopropyl acrylate at a concentration of about 67-73% w/w. 15. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the prepolymer solution further comprises: the amino propyl methacrylamide at a concentration of about 1% w/w; or the amino ethyl methacrylate at a concentration of about 3% w/w. 16. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the at least one polyether is poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylamide 10,000 at a concentration of between about 15% w/w and about 50% w/w. 17. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the at least one polyether is poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylamide, poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate, poly(ethylene glycol) dimethacrylate, poly(ethylene glycol) dimethacrylamide, or a combination thereof. 18. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the at least one polyether is poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylamide 10,000. 19. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the polymer particle comprises a reaction product of a prepolymer solution comprising: poly(ethylene glycol) 10,000 diacrylamide, a glycerol monomethacrylate, and a 2-amino ethyl methacrylate. 20. The polymer particle of claim 1 , wherein the polymer particle comprises a reaction product of a prepolymer solution comprising: poly(ethylene glycol) 10,000 diacrylamide, an n-(3-aminopropyl)methacrylamide hydrochloride, and a 3-sulfopropyl acrylate potassium salt.
