Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A fluid mixing system includes a support housing having an interior surface bounding a compartment, the support housing having a floor and a sidewall upstanding therefrom, an opening extending through the sidewall and communicating with the compartment. An elongated rack is disposed on the support housing adjacent to the opening. A first hanger includes an elongated shaft having a first end and an opposing second end, the first end of the shaft being removably mounted to the rack so that the second end projects outwardly away from the sidewall of the support housing, the second end of the shaft having a fastener disposed thereat.

What is claimed is: 1. A fluid mixing system comprising: a support housing having an interior surface bounding a compartment, the support housing having a floor and a sidewall upstanding therefrom, an opening extending through the sidewall and communicating with the compartment; a rack disposed on the support housing so that at least a portion of the rack is disposed outside of the compartment of the support housing, the rack being configured as an elongated bar onto which one or more hangers may be removably mounted; a first hanger comprising: an elongated shaft having a first end and an opposing second end, the first end of the shaft being removably mounted to the elongated bar so that the second end projects outwardly away from the sidewall of the support housing; and a fastener disposed at the second end of the shaft that is capable of engaging a first tube; and a second hanger comprising: an elongated shaft having a first end and an opposing second end, the second end of the second hanger projecting outwardly away from the sidewall of the support housing, the first end of the shaft being removably mounted to the same elongated bar as the first hanger, so that the elongated bar includes at least two hangers mounted thereto; and a fastener disposed at the second end of the elongated shaft of the second hanger that is capable of engaging a second tube. 2. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the shafts of the first and second hangers each comprises: a first shaft section including the first end; and a second shaft section including the second end, the second shaft section intersecting with the first shaft section at an angle. 3. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the shafts of the first and second hangers each have a bend. 4. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , further comprising a pair of arms projecting from the first end of each shaft and bounding a slot therebetween, the elongated bar being received within the slot. 5. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 4 , further comprising a set screw extending through one of the arms and engaging the elongated bar. 6. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , further comprising a collapsible bag bounding a chamber, the collapsible bag being at least partially disposed within the compartment of the support housing, a member projecting from the collapsible bag, through the opening in the support housing and coupling with the fastener of the hanger. 7. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 6 , wherein the member comprises a tube. 8. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first end of each shaft is movable along a length of the elongated bar. 9. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein each fastener is a clamp. 10. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , further comprising a slot formed at the second end of each shaft, the fasteners being received within the slots. 11. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , further comprising: an access port formed through the sidewall; a door hingedly mounted to the sidewall to selectively cover at least a portion of the access port, the door having the opening extending therethrough. 12. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 11 , wherein the door comprises: a perimeter frame having an exterior surface, an opposing interior surface, and an inside face; and a panel mounted to the perimeter frame so that a recess is partially bounded by the panel and the inside face of the perimeter frame. 13. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 12 , wherein the elongated bar is mounted to the perimeter frame so as to be at least partially disposed within the recess. 14. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 12 , wherein the opening extends through the panel. 15. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first end of each shaft is removably connected to the elongated bar at a location outside of the compartment of the support housing. 16. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the elongated bar has opposing ends that each separately connect directly to the support housing. 17. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the elongated bar is disposed entirely outside of the compartment of the support housing. 18. A fluid mixing system comprising: a support housing having an interior surface bounding a compartment, the support housing having a floor and a sidewall upstanding therefrom, an access port extending laterally through the sidewall and communicating with the compartment; a door movably mounted to the support housing to selectively cover at least a portion of the access port, an opening extending through the door so as to communicate with the compartment, whether the door is open or closed; a rack disposed on the door so as to be at least partially disposed outside of the compartment; and a first hanger comprising: an elongated shaft having a first end and an opposing second end, the first end of the shaft being removably mounted to the rack so that the second end projects outwardly away from the sidewall of the support housing; and a fastener disposed at the second end of the shaft; and a collapsible bag bounding a chamber, the collapsible bag being at least partially disposed within the compartment of the support housing, a member projecting from the collapsible bag, through the opening in the door and coupling with the fastener of the hanger. 19. The fluid mixing system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the elongated bar spans a width of the opening that extends through the sidewall.
