1 . A method of forming a lens, comprising: forming components on a lower substrate; sealing the components on the lower substrate with a sealing layer; forming an upper substrate over the sealing layer; and polishing the lower substrate to a lower lens curvature. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the components comprise a lens focus control device configured to change lens curvature in accordance with a focal length. 3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the components further comprise a power source. 4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the power source comprises a battery and a battery charger. 5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the components comprise a ring of light sensors. 6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the ring of light sensors is formed around an entire periphery of the lens. 7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein forming components on the lower substrate comprises: forming one or more spacers directly on the substrate; and positioning a component on each spacer. 8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein polishing the lower substrate comprises removing material from the one or more of the spacers. 9 . The method of claim 7 , wherein higher spacers are used for components close to a center of the lens than are used for components near a periphery of the lens. 10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising polishing the upper substrate to an upper lens curvature. 11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein forming the upper substrate comprises molding the upper substrate such that the upper substrate has an upper lens curvature. 12 . A method of forming a lens, comprising: positioning components on a mold; forming a lens back layer in the mold in contact with the components, the lens back layer being molded to a back lens curvature; and and forming a lens front layer in contact with the components, the lens front layer being molded to a front lens curvature. 13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the components comprise a lens focus control device configured to change lens curvature in accordance with a focal length. 14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the components further comprise a power source. 15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the power source comprises a battery and a battery charger. 16 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the components comprise a ring of light sensors. 17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the ring of light sensors is formed around an entire periphery of the lens. 18 . The method of claim 12 , wherein positioning the components on the mold comprises applying a vacuum to the components to hold the components in place. 19 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising forming electrical connections between the components. 20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein forming electrical connections between the components is performed after the lens back layer is formed and before the lens front layer is formed.
