A fastener driver includes a cylinder, a moveable piston positioned within the cylinder, and a driver blade attached to the piston and movable therewith between a top-dead-center (TDC) position and a bottom-dead-center (BDC) position. A lifter is operable to move the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. A transmission is provided for providing torque to the lifter. The lifter includes a hub and a plurality of lugs extending therefrom. Each lug is engageable with the driver blade when moving the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. The hub and the lugs are integrally formed as a single piece. The lifter includes a first side and an opposite second side. Each of the first side and the second side is flat.

What is claimed is: 1. A fastener driver comprising: a cylinder; a moveable piston positioned within the cylinder; a driver blade attached to the piston and movable therewith between a top-dead-center (TDC) position and a bottom-dead-center (BDC) position, the driver blade having a length extending between a first end and a second end of the driver blade, and a blade thickness; a lifter operable to move the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position; and a transmission for providing torque to the lifter, wherein the lifter includes a hub having an opening defining an inner surface of the lifter and a plurality of lugs extending therefrom, each lug engageable with the driver blade when moving the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position, wherein the hub and the lugs are integrally formed as a single piece, wherein the lifter includes a first side, an opposite, second side, and an outer surface extending between the first and second sides, the first side and the second side respectively defining the hub and the lugs, wherein a thickness of the hub and the lugs is defined between the first side and the second side, wherein each of the first side and the second side is flat between the inner surface and the outer surface, wherein the first side and the second side of the lifter extend in the same direction as the length the driver blade, and wherein the thickness of the lifter extends in the same direction as the blade thickness, wherein each of the lugs includes a radially outermost surface defined by a first imaginary circle having an origin positioned centrally within each lug, wherein the radially outermost surface is a circular segment of the first imaginary circle, wherein the first imaginary circle has a first diameter. 2. The fastener driver of claim 1 , wherein the first diameter is between 1.5 millimeters and 3.5 millimeters. 3. The fastener driver of claim 1 , wherein the first diameter is the same for each lug. 4. The fastener driver of claim 1 , wherein the radially outermost surfaces of each of the lugs are tangent with a second imaginary circle having a second diameter, and wherein the first diameter is less than the second diameter. 5. The fastener driver of claim 4 , wherein the second diameter is between 16.5 millimeters and 24.5 millimeters. 6. The fastener driver of claim 4 , wherein a third imaginary circle intersecting the origin of each of the lugs has a third diameter, and wherein the third diameter is greater than the first diameter and less than the second diameter. 7. The fastener driver of claim 6 , wherein the third diameter is between 14 millimeters and 22 millimeters. 8. The fastener driver of claim 1 , wherein the lifter is coupled for co-rotation with a transmission output shaft of the transmission. 9. The fastener driver of claim 8 , wherein an end of the transmission output shaft extends through the opening in the hub to rotatably secure the transmission output shaft to the lifter. 10. The fastener driver of claim 1 , wherein the driver blade includes a body and a plurality of teeth extending therefrom, wherein each lug is engageable with a respective one of the plurality of teeth of the driver blade when moving the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. 11. The fastener driver of claim 10 , wherein the lifter includes four lugs, and the driver blade includes eight teeth. 12. The fastener driver of claim 1 , wherein the first and second sides are continuous around the opening. 13. A fastener driver comprising: a cylinder; a moveable piston positioned within the cylinder; a driver blade attached to the piston and movable therewith between a top-dead-center (TDC) position and a bottom-dead-center (BDC) position; a lifter operable to move the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position; and a transmission for providing torque to the lifter, wherein the lifter includes a hub and a plurality of lugs extending therefrom, each lug engageable with the driver blade when moving the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position, wherein the hub and the lugs are integrally formed as a single piece, wherein the lifter includes a first side and an opposite, second side, the first side and the second side respectively defining the hub and the lugs, wherein a thickness of the hub and the lugs is defined between the first side and the second side, wherein each of the lugs includes a radially outermost surface defined by a first imaginary circle having an origin positioned centrally within each lug, wherein the radially outermost surface is a circular segment of the first imaginary circle, wherein the first imaginary circle has a first diameter, wherein the radially outermost surfaces of each of the lugs are tangent with a second imaginary circle having a second diameter, wherein a third imaginary circle intersecting the origin of each of the lugs has a third diameter, and wherein the first diameter is less than the second diameter and the third diameter, and wherein the third diameter is less than the second diameter. 14. The fastener driver of claim 13 , wherein the first diameter is the same for each lug. 15. The fastener driver of claim 13 , wherein the lifter is coupled for co-rotation with a transmission output shaft of the transmission. 16. The fastener driver of claim 15 , wherein the hub includes an opening through which an end of the transmission output shaft extends to rotatably secure the transmission output shaft to the lifter. 17. The fastener driver of claim 13 , wherein the driver blade includes a body and a plurality of teeth extending therefrom, wherein each lug is engageable with a respective one of the plurality of teeth of the driver blade when moving the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. 18.
