What is claimed is: 1. A torque converter comprising: a front cover configured to receive a torque and rotatable about an axis of rotation; an impeller having an impeller shell non-rotatably connected to the front cover; a turbine in fluid communication with the impeller and including a turbine shell; a ring fixed to the turbine shell, the ring including a slot extending axially therethrough relative to the axis of rotation; and a lock-up clutch including: a piston arranged between the front cover and the turbine; a reaction plate fixed to the front cover and arranged between the piston and the turbine; and a clutch plate including a radially extending portion arranged between the piston and the reaction plate and an axially extending portion arranged radially inside of the reaction plate relative to the axis of rotation and extending from the radially extending portion, the axially extending portion being non-rotatably connected to the turbine shell via the ring; wherein the axially extending portion includes a tab extending, relative to the axis of rotation, axially through the slot to an end, the slot being disposed axially between the end and the radially extending portion relative to the axis of rotation. 2. The torque converter of claim 1 , wherein the ring includes a first end fixed to the turbine shell and a second end spaced from the turbine shell, the clutch plate being connected to the second end of the ring. 3. The torque converter of claim 2 , wherein the second end is arranged radially offset relative to the first end. 4. The torque converter of claim 2 , wherein the second end includes the slot. 5. The torque converter of claim 2 , wherein the second end is axially spaced from the turbine shell. 6. The torque converter of claim 5 , wherein the second end is arranged radially offset relative to the first end. 7. The torque converter of claim 1 , wherein the clutch plate is axially spaced from the turbine shell. 8. The torque converter of claim 1 , further comprising a damper assembly axially disposed between the front cover and the turbine shell, the ring being disposed radially outside of the damper assembly. 9. The torque converter of claim 1 , further comprising a damper assembly axially disposed between the front cover and the turbine shell, the clutch plate being disposed radially outside of the damper assembly.
