What is claimed is: 1. A method of treating metabolic syndrome in a mammal in need thereof comprising administering to the mammal in need thereof an effective amount of cold press or hot press dried chardonnay seed flour. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the treating metabolic syndrome reduces cholesterol of the mammal. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the treating metabolic syndrome reduces the weight of the mammal. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the treating metabolic syndrome reduces the weight of the liver of the mammal. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the treating metabolic syndrome restores blood glucose levels to normal in the mammal. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the effective amount is at least 1.0 g per day is administered to the mammal. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the effective amount is at least 0.2 g/kg of body weight is administered to the mammal. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the mammal is a human. 9. A method of reducing the weight of a liver in a mammal in need thereof comprising administering to the mammal in need thereof an effective amount of cold or hot press dried Chardonnay seed flour. 10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the effective amount is at least 0.2 g/kg of body weight is administered to the mammal. 11. The method of claim 9 , wherein the effective amount is at least 1.0 g per day is administered to the mammal. 12. The method of claim 9 , wherein the mammal is a human. 13. A method of reducing cholesterol in a mammal in need thereof comprising administering to the mammal in need thereof an effective amount of cold or hot press dried Chardonnay seed flour. 14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the effective amount is at least 0.2 g/kg of body weight is administered to the mammal. 15. The method of claim 13 , wherein the effective amount is at least 1.0 g per day is administered to the mammal. 16. The method of claim 13 , wherein the mammal is a human. 17. A method of treating diabetes, increasing lipid metabolism, reducing weight, treating dyslipoproteinemia, increasing the amount of Bacteroides fragilis in the gut, decreasing the amount of Enterobacteriaceae bacteria in the gut, increasing the amount of Clostridium bacteria in the gut, or treating lactic acidosis in a mammal in need thereof, the method comprising administering to the mammal in need thereof an effective amount of cold press or hot press dried chardonnay seed flour. 18. The method of claim 17 , wherein the mammal is a human. 19. The method of claim 17 , wherein the effective amount is at least 0.2 g/kg of body weight is administered to the mammal. 20. The method of claim 17 , wherein the effective amount is at least 1.0 g per day is administered to the mammal.
