A deflector control portion in a jet propulsion boat causes a deflector to swing by controlling a deflector drive mechanism in response to an operation of a shift operating portion. The deflector control portion causes the deflector to move to a first trim position when the shift operating portion is switched to a forward movement shift position. The deflector control portion causes the deflector to move to a second trim position when the shift operating portion is switched to an operating shift position.

What is claimed is: 1. A jet propulsion boat comprising: a boat body; an engine housed inside the boat body; a jet propulsion mechanism that generates a propulsion power from a driving power of the engine; a deflector including a jet orifice to discharge a jet flow backward from the jet propulsion mechanism, the deflector being arranged to swing upward and downward to change a direction of the jet flow upward and downward; a bucket disposed behind the deflector and movable between a forward movement position in which the bucket is moved away from a position facing the jet orifice and an operating position in which the bucket faces the jet orifice; a shift operator that switches between a forward movement shift position corresponding to the forward movement position of the bucket and an operating shift position corresponding to the operating position of the bucket; a deflector driver that includes a linkage and an electric motor, the deflector driver causing the deflector to swing; a storage that stores a first trim position and a second trim position as swing positions of the deflector; a controller that causes the deflector to swing by controlling the deflector driver in response to an operation of the shift operator, causes the deflector to move to the first trim position when the shift operator is switched to the forward movement shift position, and causes the deflector to move to the second trim position when the shift operator is switched to the operating shift position; and a trim adjustment switch that is operated by an operator to adjust a position of the deflector; wherein the controller causes the deflector to move to the second trim position when the engine is started or stopped; and the controller stores the position of the deflector set by the trim adjustment switch in the storage as the first trim position. 2. The jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 , wherein the controller returns the deflector from the second trim position to the first trim position when the shift operator is switched from the operating shift position to the forward movement shift position. 3. The jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 , further comprising: a bucket driver that causes the bucket to move; wherein the controller causes the bucket to move by controlling the bucket driver in response to an operation of the shift operator, causes the bucket to move to the forward movement position when the shift operator is set to the forward movement shift position, and causes the bucket to move to the operating position when the shift operator is set to the operating shift position. 4. The jet propulsion boat according to claim 3 , wherein the deflector driver and the bucket driver allow mutually independent movement of the deflector and the bucket, respectively. 5. A jet propulsion boat comprising: a boat body; an engine housed inside the boat body; a jet propulsion mechanism that generates a propulsion power from a driving power of the engine; a deflector including a jet orifice to discharge a jet flow backward from the jet propulsion mechanism, the deflector being arranged to swing upward and downward to change a direction of the jet flow upward and downward; a bucket disposed behind the deflector and movable between a forward movement position in which the bucket is moved away from a position facing the jet orifice and an operating position in which the bucket faces the jet orifice; a shift operator that switches between a forward movement shift position corresponding to the forward movement position of the bucket and an operating shift position corresponding to the operating position of the bucket; a deflector driver that causes the deflector to swing; a storage that stores a first trim position and a second trim position as swing positions of the deflector; a controller that causes the deflector to swing by controlling the deflector driver in response to an operation of the shift operator, causes the deflector to move to the first trim position when the shift operator is switched to the forward movement shift position, and causes the deflector to move to the second trim position when the shift operator is switched to the operating shift position; and a bucket driver that causes the bucket to move; wherein the controller causes the deflector to move to the second trim position when the engine is started or stopped; the controller causes the bucket to move by controlling the bucket driver in response to an operation of the shift operator, causes the bucket to move to the forward movement position when the shift operator is set to the forward movement shift position, and causes the bucket to move to the operating position when the shift operator is set to the operating shift position; the deflector driver and the bucket driver allow mutually independent movement of the deflector and the bucket, respectively; and the bucket driver includes a first electric motor, and the deflector driver includes a linkage and a second electric motor that is controlled independently of the first electric motor. 6. The jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 , wherein the second trim position is a specific position stored as a prescribed value in the storage. 7. The jet propulsion boat according to claim 6 , wherein the second trim position is a position of the deflector that does not move the boat body forward or reverse. 8. The jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 , wherein the operating position is a reverse movement position that moves the boat body in reverse. 9. The jet propulsion boat according to claim 6 , wherein the second trim position is a position other than a neutral trim position.
