The antibody according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a humanized antibody and comprises at position 71 of the heavy chain variable domain numbered according to Kabat the amino acid residue arginine. 3. The antibody according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a humanized antibody and comprises at position 46 of the light chain variable domain numbered according to Kabat the amino acid residue leucine. 4. The antibody according to claim 1 , comprising (a) a heavy chain variable domain (VH) sequence having at least 95% sequence identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 04; (b) a light chain variable domain (VL) sequence having at least 95% sequence identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 08; or (c) a VH sequence as in (a) and a VL sequence as in (b), wherein the amino acid residue at position 71 of the heavy chain variable domain numbered according to Kabat is arginine and the amino acid residue at position 46 of the light chain variable domain numbered according to Kabat is leucine. 5. The antibody of claim 2 , wherein the heavy chain variable domain (VH) comprises the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 04. 6. The antibody of claim 5 , wherein the light chain variable domain (VL) comprises the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 08. 7. An antibody comprising a VH sequence of SEQ ID NO: 04 and a VL sequence of SEQ ID NO: 08. 8. The antibody of claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a full length IgG1 antibody or a full length IgG4 antibody. 9. The antibody according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a monoclonal antibody. 10. The antibody according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is an antibody fragment that binds theophylline. 11. A pharmaceutical formulation comprising the antibody according to claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 12. The antibody of claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a multispecific antibody. 13. The antibody of claim 1 , wherein the antibody is conjugated to one or more cytotoxic agents in an immunoconjugate. 14. The antibody of claim 1 , wherein the antibody further comprises a label. 15. The antibody of claim 12 , wherein the antibody further binds to a cell surface molecule.
