The present invention is directed in part to methods of preventing or reducing colon carcinogenesis comprising administering to a patient at risk of colorectal cancer, a pharmaceutical preparation comprising disclosed chemopreventive. A method of treating psoriasis, the method comprising administering orally to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of 2-methoxy-3-(4′-aminophenyl) propionic acid, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a stereoisomer thereof. 2.
