What is claimed is: 1. A compound having a formula of: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof. 2. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound having a formula of: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof. 3. The compound of claim 1 having a formula of: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 4. The compound of claim 1 having a formula of: or an ester thereof. 5. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 , wherein the compound has a formula of: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 6. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 , wherein the compound has a formula of: or an ester thereof. 7. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 , wherein the compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is present in amount of at least 90% optical purity. 8. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 , wherein the compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof, is present in amount of at least 95% optical purity. 9. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 , wherein the compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof, is present in amount of at least 96% optical purity. 10. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 , wherein the compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof, is present in amount of at least 98% optical purity. 11. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 , wherein the compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof, is present in amount of at least 99% optical purity. 12. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 , wherein the pharmaceutical composition is suitable for oral or parenteral administration.
