The present invention relates to a nebulizer mesh which is used, in a nebulizer for atomizing and nebulizing liquid, for atomizing the liquid, and has plural through holes 17 , wherein each of the through holes 17 forms a cylindrical space portion 174 on one surface side of the nebulizer mesh, and forms an opening 172 opened in a mortar shape on the other surface side, and to a production method thereof.

The invention claimed is: 1. A nebulizer mesh which is used, in a nebulizer for atomizing and nebulizing liquid, for atomizing the liquid, comprising a plurality of through holes, wherein each of the through holes forms a cylindrical space portion on one surface side of the nebulizer mesh, and forms a mortar shape opening on the other surface side, the content of platinum contained in a material constituting the nebulizer mesh is 50% by mass or more and a thickness of the nebulizer mesh is 10-30 μm, the cylindrical space portion has a height from 0.5 μm to 10 μm and a diameter from 2 μm to 4 μm, and said mortar shape comprises a convex shape. 2. The nebulizer mesh according to claim 1 , wherein particles nebulized from the nebulizer mesh have an average particle diameter of from 3 μm to 6 μm.
