The pump housing support according to claim 1 , wherein said first locating surface and said second locating surface are generally parallel to one another. 3. The pump housing support according to claim 1 , wherein said first locating surface and said second locating surface are parallel to the shaft rotation axis. 4. The pump housing support according to claim 1 , wherein the outer casing is located on the second locating surface. 5. The pump housing support according to claim 4 , wherein said outer casing is operatively connected to the mounting member. 6. The pump housing support according to claim 1 , wherein the pump housing further includes a side liner, the side liner being located on the first locating surface. 7. The pump housing support according to claim 6 , wherein a portion of the side liner is disposed between the seal housing and the main liner. 8. The pump housing support according to claim 1 , wherein said mounting member is a ring. 9. The pump housing support according to claim 1 , wherein said annular locating flange is in a continuous ring-like configuration. 10. The pump housing support according to claim 1 , wherein the bearing assembly mounting portion and at least part of the mounting member are an integral one piece component. 11. The pump housing support according to claim 10 , wherein said main body, bearing assembly mounting portion and mounting member are an integral one piece component. 12. The pump housing support according to claim 1 , wherein said ring shaped mounting flange comprises a radially extending mounting flange. 13. The pump housing support according to claim 12 , wherein said locating flange extends from an outer face of the ring shaped mounting flange. 14. A pump assembly, comprising: a pump housing support having a base, a mounting member positioned at one end of the base for support, the mounting member including a ring shaped mounting flange configured to receive a part of a pump housing for mounting thereagainst, and a locating flange extending axially outwardly from the ring shaped mounting flange, the locating flange having a first locating surface and a second locating surface, the first locating surface and second locating surface extending outwardly from said ring shaped mounting flange in the same axial direction, the second locating surface being spaced apart from and aligned in opposing orientation to said first locating surface; an outer casing operatively connected to the mounting member of the pump housing support; a main liner that is located on the second locating surface and secured in place by fixing pins; a seal housing which is located on the first locating surface; and an impeller attached to a drive shaft that extends through said pump housing support, wherein the outer casing, main liner and seal housing are each concentrically aligned and supported by the mounting member. 15. The pump assembly as claimed in claim 14 , further comprising a side liner that is located on the first locating surface. 16. The pump assembly as claimed in claim 14 wherein the outer casing has an annular flange located on the second locating surface. 17. A mounting arrangement of a plurality of component parts of a pump to a pump housing support, the component parts comprising a seal housing, a main liner, a side liner and an outer casing, the pump housing support comprising a main body providing a bearing assembly mounting portion and a mounting member positioned at one end of the main body for support, the mounting member including a ring shaped mounting flange to which part of the pump housing is mounted in registration with the main liner by fixing pins received through the mounting flange, and a locating flange extending axially outwardly from an outer face of said ring shaped mounting flange, the locating flange having a first locating surface and a second locating surface, each extending outwardly from said ring shaped mounting flange in the same axial direction, the second locating surface being spaced apart from and aligned in radially opposing orientation to said first locating surface, wherein the component parts are arranged to interfit with one another in the region of the first locating surface and second locating surface with at least one component part being located on the first locating surface and at least one other component part being located on the second locating surface such that the component parts are concentrically aligned and supported relative to the main body by the mounting member wherein said outer casing is operatively connected to the ring shaped mounting flange of the mounting member and is located on or against the second locating surface, said main liner being in part located on or against the second locating surface between the outer casing and a free end of the locating flange, said seal housing being located on or against the first locating surface at the ring shaped mounting flange and said side liner being in part located on or against said first locating surface and adjacent the seal housing. 18.
