What is claimed is: 1. A product comprising a polymer having a polyethylene or a polystyrene backbone and deoxybenzoin-containing side chains. 2. The polymer of claim 1 , wherein the polymer backbone is a polyethylene. 3. The polymer of claim 1 , wherein the polymer backbone is a polystyrene. 4. The product of claim 1 , wherein the polymer has a M w of over 50,000.
