A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that includes a styrenic block copolymer (A1) and an acrylic block copolymer (B), wherein (1) the melt viscosity of the styrenic block copolymer (A1) and the melt viscosity of the acrylic block copolymer (B) satisfy a specific relationship, (2) the mass ratio between the content of the styrenic block copolymer (A1) and the content of the acrylic block copolymer (B) in the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is in a specific relationship, (3) the styrenic block copolymer (A1) is a hydrogenated product of a block copolymer (P1) including a specific polymer block, and (4) the acrylic block copolymer (B) includes a specific polymer block and has a number average molecular weight in a specific range.

1 . A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, comprising a styrenic block copolymer (A1) and an acrylic block copolymer (B) and satisfying conditions (1) to (4) set forth below: (1) the melt viscosity (measured at a temperature of 230° C. and a shear rate of 121.6 (1/sec) in accordance with ISO 11443:1995) of the styrenic block copolymer (A1)<the melt viscosity (measured at a temperature of 230° C. and a shear rate of 121.6 (1/sec) in accordance with ISO 11443:1995) of the acrylic block copolymer (B); (2) the mass ratio [(A1):(B)] of the content of the styrenic block copolymer (A1) to the content of the acrylic block copolymer (B) in the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is from 10:90 to 90:10; (3) the styrenic block copolymer (A1) is a hydrogenated product of a block copolymer (P1), including one or more polymer blocks (a11) containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and one or more polymer blocks (a12) containing a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene; and (4) the acrylic block copolymer (B) includes one or more polymer blocks (b11) containing a structural unit derived from an acrylic acid ester and one or more polymer blocks (b12) containing a structural unit derived from a methacrylic acid ester, and has a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 60,000 or more and 300,000 or less. 2 . The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , further satisfying a condition (5) set forth below: (5) the melt viscosity (measured at a temperature of 190° C. and a shear rate of 121.6 (1/sec) in accordance with ISO 11443:1995) of the styrenic block copolymer (A1)<the melt viscosity (measured at a temperature of 190° C. and a shear rate of 121.6 (1/sec) in accordance with ISO 11443:1995) of the acrylic block copolymer (B). 3 . The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , further comprising a styrenic block copolymer (A2) satisfying conditions (6) to (8) set forth below: (6) the melt viscosity (measured at a temperature of 230° C. and a shear rate of 121.6 (1/sec) in accordance with ISO 11443:1995) of the acrylic block copolymer (B)<the melt viscosity (measured at a temperature of 230° C. and a shear rate of 121.6 (1/sec) in accordance with ISO 11443:1995) of the styrenic block copolymer (A2); (7) the styrenic block copolymer (A2) is a hydrogenated product of a block copolymer (P2), including one or more polymer blocks (a21) containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and one or more polymer blocks (a22) containing a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene; and (8) the content of the polymer block (a21) in the block copolymer (P2) is from 5 to 25% by mass. 4 . The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 3 , wherein the mass ratio [((A1)+(A2)):(B)] of the total content of the styrenic block copolymer (A1) and the styrenic block copolymer (A2) to the content of the acrylic block copolymer (B) is from 10:90 to 90:10. 5 . The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 3 , wherein the mass ratio [(A1):(A2)] of the content of the styrenic block copolymer (A1) to the content of the styrenic block copolymer (A2) is from 10:90 to 90:10. 6 . The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , wherein the content of the polymer block (b12) in the acrylic block copolymer (B) is from 5 to 30% by mass. 7 . The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , further comprising a tackifier resin. 8 . The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 7 , wherein the tackifier resin is a hydrocarbon resin. 9 . A laminate, comprising: an adhesive layer including the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 ; and a base material. 10 . A surface protection film, comprising the laminate according to claim 9 . 11 . The surface protection film according to claim 10 , wherein the base material is a base material containing a polyolefin. 12 . A method of producing a laminate, comprising a melt lamination molding by which an adhesive layer including the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 is provided onto a base material.
