Official abstract text for this publication.
A packet processing method including a traffic classifier receives a first packet; the traffic classifier determines, in policy information in the traffic classifier and according to a first filtering rule that matches the first packet, a first service identifier that matches the first filtering rule, and an address, which matches the first filtering rule, of a first service routing trigger. The traffic classifier sends a second packet to the first service routing trigger. The policy information includes a filtering rule, an address of a service routing trigger, and a service identifier corresponding to the filtering rule. The filtering rule is used to identify a packet, and the service identifier is used to represent a sequence of a service node that processes the packet. The second packet is formed by adding the first service identifier to the first packet.

1 . A packet processing system, comprising: a controller; a traffic classifier; and a first service routing trigger; wherein the controller is configured to send first policy information to the traffic classifier, and send second policy information to the service routing trigger, wherein the first policy information comprises a filtering rule and a service identifier, wherein the service identifier identifies a sequence of a service node that processes a packet, wherein the second policy information comprises the service identifier and an IP (Internet Protocol) address of a next hop of the service routing trigger; wherein the traffic classifier is configured to receive the first policy information sent by the controller, receive a first packet, and send a second packet to the service routing trigger, wherein 5-tuple or 2-tuple information of the first packet matches the filtering rule, and wherein the second packet comprises the service identifier; and wherein the service routing trigger is configured to receive the second packet, obtain the IP address of the next hop of service routing trigger according to the second policy information and the service identifier carried in the second packet, encapsulate the second packet, and send the encapsulated second packet to the next hop of the service routing trigger according to the IP address of the next hop of service routing trigger. 2 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein the second policy information further includes an encapsulation type; and wherein the service routing trigger is configured to encapsulate the second packet according to the encapsulation type. 3 . The system according to claim 2 , wherein the next hop of the service routing trigger is a service node or another service routing trigger. 4 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein the encapsulated second packet includes a VxLAN (virtual extensible LAN) identifier (ID) or a VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) ID. 5 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein the first policy information further comprises a tenant identifier; and wherein the service identifier corresponds to the filtering rule and the tenant identifier. 6 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein the second policy information further comprises an address of a next-hop node of a service node sequence corresponding to the service identifier. 7 . A packet processing method, comprising: receiving, by a service routing trigger, a first packet carrying a service identifier, wherein the service identifier identifies a sequence of a service node that processes the first packet; obtaining, by the service routing trigger, an IP (Internet Protocol) address of a next hop of the service routing trigger according to a policy information and the service identifier carried in the first packet, wherein the policy information comprises the service identifier and the IP address of the next hop of the service routing trigger; encapsulating the first packet; and sending the encapsulated first packet to the next hop of the service routing trigger according to the IP address of the next hop of the service routing trigger. 8 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the policy information further comprises an encapsulation type; and wherein the encapsulating the first packet comprises encapsulating the first packet according to the encapsulation type. 9 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein encapsulated the first packet includes a VxLAN (virtual extensible LAN) identifier (ID) or a VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) ID. 10 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the next hop of the service routing trigger is a service node or another service routing trigger. 11 . The method according to claim 7 , further comprising: receiving, by the service routing trigger, the policy information sent by a controller. 12 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the policy information further comprises an address of a next-hop node of a service node sequence corresponding to the service identifier. 13 . The method according to claim 12 , wherein the method further comprises: sending, by the service routing trigger, the first packet to the next-hop node of the service node sequence. 14 . A service routing trigger, comprising: a processor; and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program to be executed by the processor, the program including instructions to: receive a first packet carrying a service identifier, wherein the service identifier identifying a sequence of a service node that processes the first packet; obtain an IP (Internet Protocol) address of a next hop of the service routing trigger according to a policy information and the service identifier carried in the first packet, wherein the policy information comprises the service identifier and the IP address of a next hop of the service routing trigger; encapsulate the first packet; and send the encapsulated first packet to the next hop of the service routing trigger according to the IP address of the next hop of the service routing trigger. 15 . The service routing trigger according to claim 14 , wherein the policy information further comprises an encapsulation type; and wherein the program further includes instructions to encapsulate the first packet according to the encapsulation type. 16 . The service routing trigger according to the claim 14 , the program further including instructions to: receive the policy information sent by a controller. 17 . The service routing trigger according to claim 14 , wherein the encapsulated first packet includes a VxLAN (virtual extensible LAN) ID or a VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) ID. 18 . The service routing trigger according to claim 14 , wherein the next hop of the service routing trigger is a service node or another service routing trigger. 19 . The service routing trigger according to claim 14 , wherein the policy information further comprises an address of a next-hop node of a service node sequence corresponding to the service identifier. 20 . The service routing trigger according to claim 19 , wherein the program further including instructions to: send the first packet to the next-hop node of the service node sequence.
