A novel compound able to inhibit JAK is disclosed, this compound may be prepared as a pharmaceutical composition, and may be used for the prevention and treatment of a variety of conditions in mammals including humans, including by way of non-limiting example, inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, proliferative diseases, transplantation rejection, diseases involving impairment of cartilage turnover, congenital cartilage malformations, and/or diseases associated with hypersecretion of IL6.

1 . A compound according to Formula I: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 2 . A pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a pharmaceutically effective amount of a compound according claim 1 . 3 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 2 comprising a further therapeutic agent. 4 . (canceled) 5 . (canceled) 6 . (canceled) 7 . (canceled) 8 . A method for the treatment, prevention or prophylaxis of inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, proliferative diseases, transplantation rejection, diseases involving impairment of cartilage turnover, congenital cartilage malformations, and/or diseases associated with hypersecretion of IL6, comprising administering an amount of a compound of claim 1 , sufficient to effect said treatment, prevention or prophylaxis. 9 . The method according to claim 8 , comprising administering a further therapeutic agent. 10 . The method according to claim 9 , wherein the further therapeutic agent is an agent for the treatment, prevention or prophylaxis of inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, proliferative diseases, transplantation rejection, diseases involving impairment of cartilage turnover, congenital cartilage malformations, and/or diseases associated with hypersecretion of IL6. 11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the autoimmune disease is obstructive airway disease, COPD, asthma, bronchitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, type I diabetes mellitus, atopic eczema, contact dermatitis and further eczematous dermatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, atherosclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. 12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the autoimmune disease is systemic lupus erythematosus. 13 . A method for the treatment, prevention or prophylaxis of inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, proliferative diseases, transplantation rejection, diseases involving impairment of cartilage turnover, congenital cartilage malformations, and/or diseases associated with hypersecretion of IL6, comprising administering an amount of a pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 , sufficient to effect said treatment, prevention or prophylaxis. 14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the autoimmune disease is obstructive airway disease, COPD, asthma, bronchitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, type I diabetes mellitus and complications associated therewith, atopic eczema, contact dermatitis and further eczematous dermatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, atherosclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. 15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the autoimmune disease is systemic lupus erythematosus. 16 . The method according to claim 13 , comprising administering a further therapeutic agent. 17 . The method according to claim 16 , wherein the further therapeutic agent is an agent for the treatment, prevention or prophylaxis of inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, proliferative diseases, transplantation rejection, diseases involving impairment of cartilage turnover, congenital cartilage malformations, and/or diseases associated with hypersecretion of IL6. 18 . A method for the treatment, prevention or prophylaxis of inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, proliferative diseases, transplantation rejection, diseases involving impairment of cartilage turnover, congenital cartilage malformations, and/or diseases associated with hypersecretion of IL6, comprising administering an amount of a pharmaceutical composition of claim 3 , sufficient to effect said treatment, prevention or prophylaxis. 19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the autoimmune disease is obstructive airway disease, COPD, asthma, bronchitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, type I diabetes mellitus and complications associated therewith, atopic eczema, contact dermatitis and further eczematous dermatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, atherosclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. 20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the autoimmune disease is systemic lupus erythematosus. 21 . The method according to claim 18 , wherein the further therapeutic agent is an agent for the treatment, prevention or prophylaxis of inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, proliferative diseases, transplantation rejection, diseases involving impairment of cartilage turnover, congenital cartilage malformations, and/or diseases associated with hypersecretion of IL6.
