1 . A catalyst filter basket for containing catalyst material within a catalytic chemical reactor, the catalyst filter basket comprising: a central frame having a base ring and a generally cylindrical inner screen portion which extends upwardly from the base ring; a generally cylindrical outer screen assembly radially surrounding the inner screen portion of the central frame, the outer screen assembly being formed of separate screen portions which are assembled to form a complete generally cylindrical outer screen assembly; and at least one of the separate screen portions is secured by a quick release mechanism to another of the at least one separate screen portions and removable from the central frame upon release. 2 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 1 wherein the quick release mechanism comprises a split key connector. 3 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 1 wherein the quick release mechanism comprises a draw bolt which secures opposing bushings on separate screen portions together. 4 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 1 wherein the outer screen assembly is axially secured to the central frame when assembled by a locking groove arrangement wherein a ridge is received within a groove as the outer screen assembly is secured around the central frame. 5 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 2 wherein the split key connector comprises: a slotted pin which passes through a portion of two of the separate screen portions; and a split key that passes through a slot in the slotted pin to secure the separate screen portions together. 6 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 1 wherein there are two separate screen portions. 7 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 1 wherein the separate screen portions each comprise: a peripheral frame; and a central mesh filtering portion within the frame which is porous to permit fluid to pass through the screen portion. 8 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 1 further comprising a top cover that is releasably secured to the central frame to secure catalyst within a storage area that is defined radially between the inner screen portion and the outer screen assembly. 9 . A catalyst filter basket for containing catalyst material within a catalytic chemical reactor, the catalyst filter basket comprising: a central frame having a base ring and a generally cylindrical inner screen portion which extends upwardly from the base ring; a generally cylindrical outer screen assembly radially surrounding the inner screen portion of the central frame to define a catalyst storage area radially between the inner screen portion and the outer screen assembly; and the outer screen assembly being secured upon the central frame by a quick release mechanism and removable from the central frame upon release of the quick release mechanism. 10 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 9 wherein the outer screen assembly further comprises: a plurality of separate screen portions which are assembled to form a complete generally cylindrical outer screen assembly; and at least one of the separate screen portions is secured by a quick release mechanism to another of the at least one separate screen portions and removable from the central frame upon release. 11 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 10 wherein the quick release mechanism comprises a split key connector having: a slotted pin which passes through a portion of two of the separate screen portions; and a split key that passes through a slot in the slotted pin to secure the separate screen portions together. 12 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 10 wherein the quick release mechanism comprises a draw bolt which secures opposing bushings on separate screen portions together. 13 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 9 wherein the outer screen assembly is axially secured to the central frame when assembled by a locking groove arrangement wherein a ridge is received within a groove as the outer screen assembly is secured around the central frame. 14 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 10 wherein there are two separate screen portions. 15 . The catalyst filter basket of claim 9 further comprising a top cover that is releasably secured to the central frame to secure catalyst within the catalyst storage area. 16 . A method of cleaning spent catalyst material from a catalyst filter basket, the method comprising the steps of: providing a catalyst filter basket having a central frame with a base ring, an inner screen portion extending from the base ring, and an outer screen assembly radially surrounding the inner screen portion to define a catalyst storage area radially between the inner screen portion and the outer screen assembly; removing the outer screen assembly from the central frame to open the catalyst storage area; and cleaning spent catalyst from the catalyst storage area and central frame. 17 . The method of claim 16 wherein: the outer screen assembly is formed of separate screen portions which are assembled to form a complete generally cylindrical outer screen assembly and at least one of the separate screen portions is secured by a quick release mechanism to another of the at least one separate screen portions and removable from the central frame upon release of the quick release mechanism; and the step of removing the outer screen assembly from the central frame further comprises releasing the quick release mechanism and removing the separate screen portions. 18 . The method of claim 16 wherein: the catalyst filter basket further comprises a top cover that is secured to the central frame to enclose the catalyst storage area; and further comprising the step of removing the top cover from the central frame.
