Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

In some implementations, documents can be presented on a display of a computing device based on a context of the computing device. The context can include a current time and/or current location associated with the computing device. The documents can be presented based on a time and/or location associated with the documents. Documents can be downloaded and shared between devices. Documents can be dynamically updated based on document vendor provided information and/or other network based resources. In some implementations, the various graphical interfaces described herein provide access to a variety of document types in an organized and efficient manner.

What is claimed is: 1 . A method comprising: at an electronic device in communication with a display device and one or more input devices: displaying, via the display device, a document management user interface that includes a first representation of a first document stored on the electronic device, and a second representation of a second document stored on the electronic device, wherein: the first representation of the first document is displayed in a first state, and the second representation of the second document is displayed in the first state, while the first representation of the first document is displayed in the first state, a first portion of the first representation of the first document is displayed in the document management user interface without displaying a second portion of the first representation of the first document in the document management user interface, while the second representation of the second document is displayed in the first state, a first portion of the second representation of the second document is displayed in the document management user interface without displaying a second portion of the second representation of the second document in the document management user interface, the first representation of the first document is displayed stacked with the second representation of the second document in a stack of representations of documents, and the first portion of the first representation of the first document includes first information associated with the first document; while displaying the document management user interface, receiving, via the one or more input devices, an input directed to the first representation of the first document; and in response to receiving the input, displaying, via the display device, the first representation of the first document in a second state, different from the first state, including making second information associated with the first document available for wireless communication to a second electronic device, wherein while the first representation of the first document is displayed in the second state, the first portion and the second portion of the first representation of the first document are displayed in the document management user interface, wherein: before receiving the input directed to the first representation, the first representation of the first document in the first state and the second representation of the second document in the first state are displayed together in the document management user interface in the stack of representations of documents, wherein displaying the first representation of the first document and the second representation of the second document in the stack of representations of documents includes displaying the first representation and the second representation in an overlapped arrangement such that a top portion of the first representation and a top portion of the second representation are visible, and in response to receiving the input: an animation is displayed in which the first representation is moved up and out of the stack of representations of documents in the document management user interface and the stack of representations of documents, including the second representation and not the first representation, is moved down in the document management user interface, and after displaying the animation, the first representation of the first document in the second state is concurrently displayed with the stack of representations of documents and outside of the stack of representations of documents, and not inside the stack of representations of documents. 2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: receiving, from a server, an indication of an update to the first information associated with the first document; and in response to receiving the indication of the update to the first information associated with the first document, updating, in the document management user interface, the first portion of the first representation of the first document to include the updated first information associated with the first document while the first representation of the first document is displayed in the first state. 3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the first representation of the first document includes respective information associated with the first document, and updating the first portion of the first representation of the first document to include the updated first information includes: displaying the updated first information with a visual characteristic having a first value; and displaying the respective information with the visual characteristic having a second value, different from the first value. 4 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the second portion of the first representation includes third information associated with the first document, the method further comprising: receiving, from a server, an indication of an update to the third information associated with the first document; and in response to receiving the indication of the update to the third information associated with the first document, updating, in the document management user interface, the second portion of the first representation of the first document to include the updated third information associated with the first document. 5 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the first document is associated with a user-defined setting to enable or disable the updating of the first information. 6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: while displaying the document management user interface, receiving, via the one or more input devices, an input directed to the second representation of the second document; and in response to receiving the input, displaying, via the display device, the second representation of the second document in the second state, different from the first state, including making information associated with the second document available for wireless communication to the second electronic device, wherein while the second representation of the second document is displayed in the second state, the first portion and the second portion of the second representation of the second document are displayed in the document management user interface. 7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second information associated with the first document is available for near field communications to the second electronic device. 8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first document is associated with an account, and the first information reflects a balance of the account. 9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first document is a boarding pass, and the first information reflects a boarding gate. 10 . A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs, the one or more programs comprising instructions, which when executed by one or more processors of an electronic device in communication with a display device and one or more input devices, cause the electronic device to: display, via the display device, a document management user interface that includes a first representation of a first document stored on the electronic device, and a second representation of a second document stored on the electronic device, wherein: the first representation of the first document is displayed in a first state, and the second representation of the second document is displayed in the first state, while the first representation of the first document is displayed in the first state, a first portion of the first representation of the first document is displayed in the document management user interface without displaying a second portion of the first representation of the first document in the doc
