Systems and methods are provided for updating an agricultural prescription for a geographic region. An example computer-implemented method includes executing an agricultural prescription, via farming equipment, in a geographic region and receiving, during execution of the prescription, sensor data from the farming equipment and operating data representing local operating settings for the farming equipment. Task execution data for the agricultural prescription is generated based on the received sensor data and received operating data for the farming equipment, and compared to expected data for execution of the prescription by the farming equipment. Then, in response to the comparison exceeding a threshold, a corrective action for the farming equipment is initiated wherein an alert is generated and, in response, an updated agricultural prescription is executed, via the farming equipment, by overriding the local operating settings for the farming equipment with corrective operating settings included in the updated prescription.

What is claimed is: 1. A method for updating an agricultural prescription for a geographic region, the method comprising: executing an agricultural prescription, via farming equipment, in a geographic region; receiving, by a computing device of the farming equipment, during execution of the agricultural prescription by the farming equipment, sensor data from one or more sensors of the farming equipment and operating data representing local operating settings for the farming equipment in the geographic region; generating, by the computing device, task execution data for the geographic region for execution of the agricultural prescription, based on the received sensor data and the received operating data for the farming equipment; determining, by the computing device, a difference between the generated task execution data for the geographic region and expected data for execution of the agricultural prescription in the geographic region by the farming equipment; and in response to the determined difference exceeding a threshold level, initiating a corrective action for the farming equipment by: identifying, by the computing device, a settings template for the farming equipment based on the local operating settings for the farming equipment; generating, by the computing device, a settings alert for the agricultural prescription, the settings alert including the settings template for the farming equipment; transmitting, by the computing device, the settings alert; obtaining, by the computing device, in response to the transmitted settings alert, an updated agricultural prescription comprising corrective operating settings for the farming equipment; and executing, by the computing device, the updated agricultural prescription, via the farming equipment, by overriding the local operating settings for the farming equipment with the corrective operating settings to thereby implement the corrective action via the farming equipment. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the settings alert further includes a result of the comparison. 3. The method of claim 2 , further comprising generating the updated prescription based on the comparison of the generated task execution data to the expected data for execution of the agricultural prescription by the farming equipment. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein transmitting the settings alert includes transmitting the settings alert to an application unit computing device; and wherein obtaining the updated agricultural prescription includes receiving the updated agricultural prescription from the application unit computing device in response to the transmitted settings alert. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein identifying the settings template for the farming equipment includes comparing the local operating settings for the farming equipment to a plurality of templates, stored at the computing device, and identifying said settings template from the plurality of templates based on a match between said settings template and the local operating settings for the farming equipment. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the farm equipment includes a combine, a planter, and/or a treatment applicator; and wherein the task execution data includes crop output data, crop waste data, planting data, and/or treatment application data. 7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the geographic region includes an agricultural field. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the agricultural prescription comprises one or more of: a planting plan, a tillage plan, a crop transportation plan, a speed plan, a fertilizing plan, a watering plan, a weeding plan, a harvesting plan, or a nitrogen application prescription. 9. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising executable instructions for updating an agricultural prescription for a geographic region, which when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to: execute an agricultural prescription, via farming equipment, to perform an agricultural task in an agricultural field; receive, during execution of the agricultural prescription by the farming equipment, sensor data from one or more sensors of the farming equipment and operating data representing local operating settings for the farming equipment in the agricultural field; generate task execution data for the agricultural field for execution of the agricultural prescription, based on the received sensor data and the received operating data for the farming equipment; determine a difference between the generated task execution data for the agricultural field and expected data for execution of the agricultural prescription in the agricultural field by the farming equipment; and in response to the determined difference exceeding a threshold level: generate a settings alert for the agricultural prescription; and in response to the settings alert, execute an updated agricultural prescription, via the farming equipment, by overriding the local operating settings for the farming equipment with corrective operating settings included in the updated agricultural prescription, to thereby implement a corrective action via the farming equipment in performing the agricultural task. 10. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the settings alert includes a result of the comparison. 11. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10 , wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause that at least one processor to generate the updated prescription based on the comparison of the generated task execution data to the expected data for execution of the agricultural prescription by the farming equipment. 12. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 11 , wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the at least one processor to, in response to the comparison exceeding a threshold level, identify a settings template for the farming equipment based on the local operating settings for the farming equipment; and wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor to generate the updated prescription, cause the at least one processor to generate the updated prescription further based on the identified settings template for the farming equipment. 13. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the at least one processor to: transmitting the settings to an application unit computing device; and obtain the updated agricultural prescription from the application unit computing device in response to the transmitted settings alert. 14. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the farm equipment includes a combine, a planter, and/or a treatment applicator; and wherein the task execution data includes crop output data, crop waste data, planting data, and/or treatment application data. 15. A system for updating an agricultural prescription for a geographic region, the system comprising a farming equipment computing device configured to: execute an agricultural prescription, via farming equipment, to perform an agricultural task in a geographic region; receive, during execution of the agricultural prescription by the farming equipment, sensor data from one or more sensors of the farming equipment and operating data representing local operating settings for the farming equipment in the geographic region; generate task execution data for the geographic region
