Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for automatic subscription-based ordering of product components. During display of media content, the system receives a voice input and determines that the voice input indicates interest in a product. The system identifies the components required to create the product and identifies a subscription to an automated shopping service. Upon identifying the subscription, the system determines whether required components are available via the automated shopping service. Further, the system excludes components that were previously purchased via the automated shopping service, and the system automatically places an order through the automated shopping service for the remaining components.

What is claimed is: 1. A method comprising: storing, using a storage circuitry, a plurality of orders placed by a user profile via a subscription to an automated shopping service, in a database; detecting, using a control circuitry, a biometric state of a user associated with the user profile during displaying of media content; tagging, using the control circuitry, the biometric state with a timestamp indicative of a time period when the biometric state was detected; identifying the time period based on the timestamp of the biometric state; and determining, using the control circuitry, that the biometric state comprises an indication of interest in a displayed product in the media content, by: querying a server for metadata of the media content that was determined to be generated for display when the biometric state was detected; determining, based on the metadata of the media content received from the server that the product was displayed during the identified time period; and automatically, using the control circuitry, placing an order, for components required to create the displayed product that have not been previously ordered by the user profile, via the subscription to the automated shopping service, without receiving additional user interface input to order products. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the detecting, using the control circuitry, the biometric state of the user further comprises: continuously monitoring biometric inputs of the user for biometric information; and using the biometric information to determine whether the biometric state comprises the indication of interest. 3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the using the biometric information to determine whether the biometric state comprises the indication of interest further comprises determining that the biometric information received is associated with a biometric profile that suggests the indication of interest. 4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the storage circuitry is further configured to store the biometric profile in the database. 5. The method of claim 2 , wherein the continuously monitoring the biometric inputs of the user for the biometric information comprises monitoring one or more of a heartrate of the user, a breathing rate of the user, sweat of the user, and fluid of the user. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the biometric information is monitored through a wearable device. 7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the wearable device is a smartwatch. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the storing, using the storage circuitry, the plurality of orders placed by the user profile via the subscription to the automated shopping service, in the database, further comprises: storing, using the storage circuitry, data identifying the subscription to the automated shopping service associated with the user profile; receiving, using the control circuitry, the plurality of orders for products placed by the user profile via the subscription to the automated shopping service; and storing, using the storage circuitry, information from the plurality of orders placed by the user profile in the database, wherein the database identifies time of purchase and product information for each order of the plurality of orders. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the automatically, using the control circuitry, placing the order, for the components required to create the displayed product that have not been previously ordered by the user profile, via the subscription to the automated shopping service, without receiving additional user interface input to order products further comprises: identifying, using the control circuitry, a set of components required to create the displayed product; for each particular component of the set of components: searching the database for an entry that identifies the particular component; in response to finding the entry that identifies the particular component, reducing the set of components by excluding the particular component from the set of components; determining that the subscription to the automated shopping service is available to purchase the reduced set of components; and automatically, using the control circuitry, placing an order for the reduced set of components via the subscription to the automated shopping service without receiving additional user interface input to order products. 10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the determining that the subscription to the automated shopping service is available to purchase the reduced set of components further comprises: determining that a component of the reduced set of components is unavailable for purchase using the automated shopping service; and in response to the determination that the component of the reduced set of components unavailable for purchase, identifying, using the control circuitry, a substitute component for purchase. 11. A system comprising: storage circuitry configured to: store information from a plurality of orders placed by a user profile via a subscription to an automated shopping service in a database; and control circuitry configured to: detect a biometric state of a user associated with the user profile during displaying of media content; tag the biometric state with a timestamp indicative of a time period when the biometric state was received; identify the time period based on the timestamp of the biometric state; and determine that the biometric state comprises an indication of interest in a displayed product in the media content, by: querying a server for metadata of the media content that was determined to be generated for display when the biometric state was detected; and determining, based on the metadata of the media content received from the server that the product was displayed during the identified time period; and automatically place an order, for the components required to create the displayed product that have not been previously ordered by the user profile, via the subscription to the automated shopping service, without receiving additional user interface input to order products. 12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to, when detecting the biometric state of the user: continuously monitor biometric inputs of the user for biometric information; and use the biometric information to determine whether the biometric state comprises the indication of interest. 13. The system of claim 12 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to, when using the biometric information to determine whether the biometric state comprises the indication of interest, determine that the biometric information received is associated with a biometric profile that suggests the indication of interest. 14. The system of claim 13 , wherein the storage circuitry is further configured to store the biometric profile in the database. 15. The system of claim 12 , wherein the control circuitry, when continuously monitoring the biometric inputs of the user for the biometric information, is further configured to monitor one or more of a heartrate of the user, a breathing rate of the user, sweat of the user, and fluid of the user. 16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the biometric information is monitored through a wearable device. 17. The system of claim 16 , wherein the wearable device is a smartwatch. 18. The system of claim 11 , wherein the storage circuitry, when storing the plurality of orders placed by the user profile via the subscription to the automated shopping service in the database, is further configured
