Method and apparatus for compression in wireless communication systems. The apparatus compresses a signal based on an encoder scheme, wherein an encoded signal comprises at least a first CRC associated with a prediction index and a second CRC associated with a prediction information component. The apparatus transmits, to a second wireless device, the encoded signal comprising at least the first CRC associated with the prediction index and the second CRC associated with the prediction information component. The apparatus may be configured to compress the signal such that the signal comprises one or more parity bits, where the one or more parity bits correspond to a difference between a frame of the signal and at least one subsequent frame of the signal.

What is claimed is: 1. An apparatus for wireless communication at a first wireless device, comprising: at least one memory; and at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory and, based at least in part on information stored in the at least one memory, the at least one processor is configured to cause the apparatus to: compress a signal based on a prediction index and corresponding prediction information to generate an encoded signal, wherein the encoded signal comprises first cyclic redundancy check (CRC) information with the prediction index and second CRC information with the corresponding prediction information, wherein the prediction index identifies a prediction scheme, and the corresponding prediction information is based on the prediction scheme indicated by the prediction index; and transmit, to a second wireless device, the encoded signal comprising the first CRC information with the prediction index and the second CRC information with the prediction information. 2. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a transceiver coupled to the at least one processor, the transceiver being configured to: transmit, to the second wireless device, the encoded signal comprising at least the first CRC information with the prediction index and the second CRC information with the prediction information. 3. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the prediction information corresponds to a difference between a frame of the encoded signal and a prediction of the frame of the encoded signal. 4. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first CRC information with the prediction index is in a different code block than the second CRC information with the prediction information or is in a same code block of the second CRC information with the prediction information. 5. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first CRC information and the second CRC information are comprised in distributed CRC information, the first CRC information corresponding to a first portion of the distributed CRC information that provides protection for a first portion of a code block comprising the prediction index, and the second CRC information corresponding to a second portion of the distributed CRC information that provides protection for a second portion of the code block comprising the prediction information. 6. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the encoded signal comprises one or more parity bits, wherein the one or more parity bits correspond to a difference between a frame of the encoded signal and at least one subsequent frame of the encoded signal. 7. The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein an encoder scheme utilized to compress the encoded signal comprises a distributed video coding (DVC) scheme. 8. A method of wireless communication at a first wireless device, comprising: compressing a signal based on a prediction index and corresponding prediction information to generate an encoded signal, wherein the encoded signal comprises first cyclic redundancy check (CRC) information with the prediction index and second CRC information with the corresponding prediction information, wherein the prediction index identifies a prediction scheme, and the prediction information is based on the prediction scheme indicated by the prediction index; and transmitting, to a second wireless device, the encoded signal comprising the first CRC information with the prediction index and the second CRC information with the prediction information. 9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the prediction information corresponds to a difference between a frame of the encoded signal and a prediction of the frame of the encoded signal. 10. The method of claim 8 , wherein the first CRC information with the prediction index is in a different code block than the second CRC information with the prediction information or is in a same code block of the second CRC information with the prediction information. 11. The method of claim 8 , wherein the first CRC information and the second CRC information are comprised in distributed CRC information, the first CRC information corresponding to a first portion of the distributed CRC information that provides protection for a first portion of a code block comprising the prediction index, and the second CRC information corresponding to a second portion of the distributed CRC information that provides protection for a second portion of the code block comprising the prediction information. 12. The method of claim 8 , wherein the encoded signal comprises one or more parity bits, wherein the one or more parity bits correspond to a difference between a frame of the encoded signal and at least one subsequent frame of the encoded signal. 13. The method of claim 12 , wherein an encoder scheme utilized to compress the encoded signal comprises a distributed video coding (DVC) scheme. 14. An apparatus for wireless communication at a second wireless device, comprising: at least one memory; and at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory and, based at least in part on information stored in the at least one memory, the at least one processor is configured to cause the apparatus to: receive, from a first wireless device, an encoded signal including data that is compressed based on a prediction index and corresponding prediction information, wherein the encoded signal comprises at least a first cyclic redundancy check (CRC) information with the prediction index and second CRC information with the corresponding prediction information, wherein the prediction index identifies a prediction scheme, and the corresponding prediction information is based on the prediction scheme indicated by the prediction index; perform a first CRC on the first CRC information with the prediction index; and estimate the corresponding prediction information from the encoded signal based at least in part on a CRC pass of the first CRC, wherein the estimate is in response to a CRC fail of a second CRC on the second CRC information and the CRC pass of the first CRC. 15. The apparatus of claim 14 , further comprising a transceiver coupled to the at least one processor, the transceiver being configured to: receive, from the first wireless device, the encoded signal including the data that is compressed based on the prediction index and the corresponding prediction information. 16. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the prediction information corresponds to a difference between a frame of the encoded signal and a prediction of the frame of the encoded signal. 17. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the first CRC information with the prediction index is in a different code block than the second CRC information with the prediction information or is in a same code block of the second CRC information with the prediction information. 18. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the first CRC information and the second CRC information are comprised in distributed CRC information, the first CRC information corresponding to a first portion of the distributed CRC information that provides protection for a first portion of a code block comprising the prediction index, and the second CRC information corresponding to a second portion of the distributed CRC information that provides protection for a second portion of the code block comprising the prediction information. 19. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to cause the apparatus to: estimate one or more missing portions of a frame of a decoded signal based on previous frames and current positions from a present frame h
