Compounds for use in treating or preventing human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection are disclosed. The compounds have the following formula (I): including stereoisomers and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R 1 , R 2 , L, W 1 , W 2 , X, Y, and Z are as defined herein. Methods associated with the preparation and use of such compounds, as well as pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds, are also disclosed.

We claim: 1. A compound selected from the group consisting of: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 2. A compound selected from the group consisting of: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 3. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. 4. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 3 , further comprising one, two, three, or four additional therapeutic agents. 5. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 4 , wherein the additional therapeutic agent or agents are anti-HIV agents. 6. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of claim 2 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. 7. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 6 , further comprising one, two, three, or four additional therapeutic agents. 8. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 7 , wherein the additional therapeutic agent or agents are anti-HIV agents.
