A beverage container washing system may be used for rapid washing and/or sanitizing of beverage containers, e.g., for use in a retail environment to wash and/or sanitize customer-provided beverage containers prior to filling the beverage containers with purchased beverages, among other applications. The beverage container washing system may include multiple concentric housing members supported on a base, and an air knife chamber that supply air from a stationary air supply to an air knife opening on a rotatable one of the concentric housing members.

What is claimed is: 1. An apparatus for washing a beverage container, comprising: a base including a drain configured to collect wash fluid sprayed during a washing operation; inner and outer concentric domes supported on the base, the inner concentric dome being disposed inwardly from the outer concentric dome and forming at least a portion of a wash chamber with the base, the inner concentric dome being rotatable about an axis of rotation and including at least one air knife opening configured to direct air flow into the wash chamber; a holder disposed within the wash chamber and configured to hold the beverage container during a washing operation; a spray assembly including at least one sprayer disposed within the wash chamber and configured to spray the wash fluid onto the beverage container while the beverage container is held by the holder; a stationary air supply conduit configured to supply air from an air supply; an air knife chamber disposed at a top of the inner concentric dome and coaxial with the axis of rotation, the air knife chamber configured to receive air from the stationary air supply conduit and direct the received air to the at least one air knife opening; and a controller coupled to the spray assembly and the air supply and configured to control the spray assembly to spray wash fluid onto the beverage container and thereafter control the air supply to supply air to the at least one air knife opening to direct air flow downwardly toward the beverage container while the beverage container is held by the holder. 2. An apparatus for washing a beverage container, comprising: a base; first and second concentric housing members supported on the base, one of the first and second concentric housing members being disposed inwardly from the other of the first and second concentric housing members and forming at least a portion of a wash chamber, and one of the first and second concentric housing members being a rotatable concentric housing member that is rotatable about an axis of rotation, the rotatable concentric housing member including at least one air knife opening configured to direct air flow into the wash chamber; a holder disposed within the wash chamber and configured to hold the beverage container during a washing operation; a stationary air supply conduit configured to supply air; and an air knife chamber disposed at a top of the rotatable concentric housing member and coaxial with the axis of rotation, the air knife chamber configured to receive air from the stationary air supply conduit and direct the received air to the at least one air knife opening to direct air flow toward the beverage container while the beverage container is held by the holder. 3. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the air knife chamber is configured to rotate about the axis of rotation with the rotatable concentric housing member. 4. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the at least one air knife opening includes at least one radially-offset air knife opening that is radially-offset from the axis of rotation, and wherein the air knife chamber includes a central hub configured to distribute air flow to the at least one radially-offset air knife opening. 5. The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the at least one radially-offset air knife opening includes an annular arrangement of radially-offset air knife openings at least partially circumscribing the axis of rotation. 6. The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein stationary air supply conduit includes a downwardly-facing tube and the central hub includes an upwardly-facing nipple portion facing and axially aligned with the downwardly-facing tube. 7. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the air knife chamber is integrally molded with the rotatable concentric housing member. 8. The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the air knife chamber is defined between a portion of a wall of the rotatable concentric housing member and a shell that covers the portion of the wall. 9. The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the shell is secured to and rotatable with the rotatable concentric housing member. 10. The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the shell is welded to the rotatable concentric housing member. 11. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the rotatable concentric housing member is the first concentric housing member and is disposed inwardly of the second concentric housing member, and wherein the first concentric housing member comprises an inner concentric dome and the second concentric housing member comprises an outer concentric dome. 12. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the inner concentric dome includes an opening and the outer concentric dome includes an entrance opening and an exit opening, and wherein the apparatus further comprises: a drive assembly coupled to the inner concentric dome and configured to rotate the inner concentric dome about an axis of rotation; and a controller coupled to the drive assembly and configured to control the drive assembly to: rotate the inner concentric dome to a first relative position prior to the washing operation to align the opening of the inner concentric dome with the entrance opening to permit insertion of the beverage container into the holder in the wash chamber; thereafter rotate the inner concentric dome to a second relative position to inhibit wash fluid sprayed during the washing operation from exiting through the entrance and exit openings of the outer concentric dome; and thereafter rotate the inner concentric dome to a third relative position to align the opening of the inner concentric dome with the exit opening to permit removal of the beverage container from the holder in the wash chamber after the washing operation. 13. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the base includes a collector configured to collect wash fluid sprayed during a washing operation, the apparatus further comprising: a spray assembly including at least one sprayer disposed within the wash chamber and configured to spray the wash fluid onto the beverage container while the beverage container is held by the holder; a blower in fluid communication with the air supply conduit and configured to supply air to the air supply conduit; and a controller coupled to the spray assembly and the blower and configured to control the spray assembly to spray wash fluid onto the beverage container and thereafter control the blower to supply air to the at least one air knife opening to direct air flow downwardly toward the beverage container while the beverage container is held by the holder. 14. An apparatus for washing a beverage container, comprising: a base; first and second concentric housing members supported on the base, one of the first and second concentric housing members being disposed inwardly from the other of the first and second concentric housing members and forming at least a portion of a wash chamber, and one of the first and second concentric housing members being a rotatable concentric housing member that is rotatable about an axis of rotation, the rotatable concentric housing member including at least one air knife opening configured to direct air flow into the wash chamber; a holder disposed within the wash chamber and configured to hold the beverage container during a washing operation; a stationary air supply conduit configured to supply air; and an air knife chamber disposed at a top of the rotatable concentric housing member, the air knife chamber configured to receive air from the stationary air supply conduit and direct the received air to the at least one air knife opening to direct air flow toward the beverage container while the beverage container is held by the
