Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A device and a method for processing, in particular edge processing, an optical lens, wherein the device has a measuring system, a processing system, a loading system, an unloading system, an intermediate conveyor, and a belt conveyor. The loading system is arranged between the measuring system and the processing system. The unloading system is arranged on the opposite side of the processing system. A lens that is to be processed is picked up and oriented at the optical reference point that is determined by the measuring system in order to determine as precisely as possible the blocking point for the subsequent processing. The loading system and unloading system each have a linearly movable swiveling system with linearly movable suction devices arranged therein. The processing system is designed for the simultaneous processing of two lenses.

What is claimed is: 1. Device for processing one or more optical lenses, comprising a measuring system for optical measurement of the one or more lenses to be processed; a processing system for processing the one or more lenses; an intermediate conveyor; a loading system for at least one of conveying one or more measured lenses to the intermediate conveyor and receiving the one or more measured lenses from the measuring system, an unloading system, working independently of the loading system for removal of one or more processed lenses from the processing system or delivery of the one or more processed lenses to a container, and wherein the intermediate conveyor is configured for receiving the one or more lenses to be processed from the loading system and for feeding the one or more lenses to be processed from the loading system to the processing system, the intermediate conveyor working independently of the loading system and the unloading system. 2. Device according to claim 1 , wherein the processing system has a working space for processing the one or more lenses which is separate from the measuring system. 3. Device according claim 2 , wherein the processing system is operable for receiving the one or more lenses from the intermediate conveyor outside of the working space independently of the lens processing system. 4. Device according to claim 2 , wherein the working space comprises two tool drives that work independently of one another, with assigned tools for independent and simultaneous processing of two lenses. 5. Device according to claim 1 , wherein the processing system has clamping shafts which can be moved or swiveled alternately in the working space to be able to move or swivel the one or more lenses out from and back into the working space to change lenses. 6. Device according to claim 5 , wherein the intermediate conveyor is configured to transfer the one or more lenses that are to be processed to the clamping shafts. 7. Device according to claim 1 , wherein the intermediate conveyor has a gripper for gripping or holding the one or more lenses. 8. Device according to claim 1 , wherein the processing system is a system for edge processing the one or more lenses. 9. Device according to claim 1 , further comprising a lens conveyor for the one or more lenses or containers for conveying the one or more lenses from the device; wherein the processing system, the loading system, the measurement system and the unloading system are arranged on a single side of the lens conveyor. 10. Device according to claim 1 , wherein the measurement system and the processing system are arranged adjacent to one another. 11. Device according to claim 7 , wherein the device comprises at least one suction device for gripping or holding reverse sides of the lenses. 12. Device according to claim 1 , wherein the loading system has a first gripper or suction device and a second gripper or suction device. 13. Device according to claim 12 , wherein the loading system has a swiveling system with the first gripper or suction device and the second gripper or suction device. 14. Device according to claim 1 , wherein the loading system is arranged between the measuring system and the processing system. 15. Device according to claim 1 , wherein the unloading system is arranged on a side of the processing system that faces away from at least one of the measuring system or the loading system. 16. Device according to claim 1 , wherein the processing system has a working space for processing the one or more lenses which is separate from the measuring system, the processing system is a system for edge processing the one or more lenses, a lens conveyor is provided for at least one of conveying the one or more lenses to the loading system, and conveying the one or more lenses from the device, the processing system, the loading system, the measurement system and the unloading system are arranged on a single side of the lens conveyor, and the processing system is designed for block-free processing of the one or more lenses and has clamping shafts for clamping the one or more lenses between the clamping shafts. 17. Device according to claim 16 , wherein the unloading system is arranged on an opposite side of the processing system from the loading system. 18. Device for processing one or more optical lenses, comprising a measuring system for optical measurement of the one or more lenses to be processed; a processing system for processing the one or more lenses; and a loading system, an unloading system for removal of one or more processed lenses from the processing system or delivery of the one or more processed lenses to a lens conveyor, the unloading system being separate from-the processing system, and an intermediate conveyor for feeding the one or more lenses to be processed to the processing system, the intermediate conveyor being separate from-the loading system and the unloading system, wherein the loading system is configured for conveying the one or more lenses to the intermediate conveyor, and wherein the intermediate conveyor is configured for receiving the one or more lenses to be processed from the loading system. 19. Device according to claim 18 , wherein the processing system has a working space for processing the one or more lenses which is separate from the measuring system, the processing system is a system for edge processing the one or more lenses, a lens conveyor is provided for at least one of conveying the one or more lenses to the loading system, and conveying the one or more lenses from the device, the processing system, the loading system, the measurement system and the unloading system are arranged on a single side of the lens conveyor, and the processing system is designed for block-free processing of lenses and has clamping shafts for clamping lenses the clamping shafts. 20.
