Wireless transport of multiple service versions of a transport framework. First and second information may be processed for transmission, respectively, according to first and second service versions of a transport framework. The first and second information may be encoded using a first type of error correction coding; after processing, the processed first information may include error correction coding according to the first type of error correction coding, while the processed second information may remain uncoded according to the first type of error correction coding. Control information may be generated indicating that the second information remains uncoded according to the first type of error correction coding, which may signal to receivers that the second information is processed according to the second service version of the transport framework. Packets including the processed first information, the processed second information, and the control information may be generated and transmitted in a wireless manner.

We claim: 1. A non-transitory computer readable memory medium storing program instructions, wherein the program instructions are executable to cause a wireless device to: receive a plurality of packets comprising first and second encoded audiovisual information and control information in a wireless manner from a remote device; determine, based at least in part on the control information, that the second audiovisual information is not encoded according to a first type of error correction; determine, based at least in part on the determination that the second audiovisual information is not encoded according to a first type of error correction, that the second encoded audiovisual information is of a second service version different from a first service version of the first audiovisual information; determine, based on a configuration of the wireless device, whether one or both of the first and second encoded audiovisual information are useable by the wireless device for presentation; and based on the determination whether one or both of the first and second encoded audiovisual information are useable by the wireless device for presentation: decode at least one of the first and second encoded audiovisual information; and present at least one of the first decoded audiovisual information and the second decoded audiovisual information on at least one of a display and one or more speakers of the wireless device. 2. The non-transitory computer readable memory medium of claim 1 , wherein the second service version comprises a later service version than the first service version. 3. The non-transitory computer readable memory medium of claim 1 , wherein the control information is located in a different one or more packets of the plurality of packets than the first and second encoded audiovisual information. 4. The non-transitory computer readable memory medium of claim 1 , wherein the first encoded audiovisual information is located in a different one or more packets of the plurality of packets than the second encoded audiovisual information. 5. The non-transitory computer readable memory medium of claim 1 , wherein at least part of the first encoded audiovisual information and at least part of the second encoded audiovisual information are co-located in at least one packet of the plurality of packets. 6. The non-transitory computer readable memory medium of claim 1 , wherein the first and second encoded audiovisual information comprise packetized audiovisual information, and wherein the plurality of packets is transmitted according to a transport framework of a wireless audiovisual communication standard. 7. The non-transitory computer readable memory medium of claim 1 , wherein it is determined that the second audiovisual information is not encoded according to the first type of error correction based at least in part on a coding rate indicated by the control information. 8. A method, comprising: by a wireless device: receiving a plurality of packets comprising first and second encoded audiovisual information and control information in a wireless manner from a remote device; determining, based at least in part on the control information, that the second audiovisual information is not encoded according to a first type of error correction; determining, based at least in part on the determination that the second audiovisual information is not encoded according to a first type of error correction, that the second encoded audiovisual information is of a second service version different from a first service version of the first audiovisual information; determining, based on a configuration of the wireless device, whether one or both of the first and second encoded audiovisual information are useable by the wireless device for presentation; and based on the determination whether one or both of the first and second encoded audiovisual information are useable by the wireless device for presentation: decoding at least one of the first and second encoded audiovisual information; and presenting at least one of the first decoded audiovisual information and the second decoded audiovisual information on at least one of a display and one or more speakers of the wireless device. 9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the second service version comprises a later service version than the first service version. 10. The method of claim 8 , wherein the control information is located in a different one or more packets of the plurality of packets than the first and second encoded audiovisual information. 11. The method of claim 8 , wherein the first encoded audiovisual information is located in a different one or more packets of the plurality of packets than the second encoded audiovisual information. 12. The method of claim 8 , wherein at least part of the first encoded audiovisual information and at least part of the second encoded audiovisual information are co-located in at least one packet of the plurality of packets. 13. The method of claim 8 , wherein the first and second encoded audiovisual information comprise packetized audiovisual information, and wherein the plurality of packets is transmitted according to a transport framework of a wireless audiovisual communication standard. 14. The non-transitory computer readable memory medium of claim 8 , wherein it is determined that the second audiovisual information is not encoded according to the first type of error correction based at least in part on a coding rate indicated by the control information. 15. A wireless device, comprising: receiver logic; and an antenna coupled to the receiver logic, wherein the wireless device is configured to: receive a plurality of packets comprising first and second encoded audiovisual information and control information in a wireless manner from a remote device; determine, based at least in part on the control information, that the second audiovisual information is not encoded according to a first type of error correction; determine, based at least in part on the determination that the second audiovisual information is not encoded according to a first type of error correction, that the second encoded audiovisual information is of a second service version different from a first service version of the first audiovisual information; determine, based on a configuration of the wireless device, whether one or both of the first and second encoded audiovisual information are useable by the wireless device for presentation; and based on the determination whether one or both of the first and second encoded audiovisual information are useable by the wireless device for presentation: decode at least one of the first and second encoded audiovisual information; and present at least one of the first decoded audiovisual information and the second decoded audiovisual information on at least one of a display and one or more speakers of the wireless device. 16. The wireless device of claim 15 , wherein the second service version comprises a later service version than the first service version. 17. The wireless device of claim 15 , wherein the control information is located in a different one or more packets of the plurality of packets than the first and second encoded audiovisual information. 18. The wireless device of claim 15 , wherein the first encoded audiovisual information is located in a different one or more packets of the plurality of packets than the second encoded audiovisual information. 19.
