Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A recording apparatus includes a recording portion configured to record an image on a recording medium; a housing having an ejection opening on the side of the housing, the recording medium recorded with the image being ejected from the ejection opening in the ejection direction; and a receiver that receives the recording medium ejected from the ejection opening. The recording apparatus further includes a guide provided inside the ejection opening of the housing, and the receiver has an end on an upstream side of the receiver with respect to the ejection direction such that the end is held at a position overlapping with the guide.

What is claimed is: 1. A recording apparatus comprising: a set portion configured to set a recording medium wound into a roll sheet; a recording portion configured to record an image on the recording medium fed from the roll sheet set at the set portion; a guide configured to guide the recording medium recorded by the recording portion in a discharging direction; a receiving member having a first end and a second end and configured to receive the recording medium guided by the guide; a holding portion provided between the guide and the set portion with respect to a vertical direction and configured to hold the first end side of the receiving member; and a sliding portion configured to slide between a first position in which the receiving member can receive the recording medium by moving the second end side of the receiving member while the holding portion holds the first end side of the receiving member, and a second position in which the receiving member cannot receive the recording medium and at least a part of the receiving member is housed in an apparatus main body. 2. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the receiving member is a flexible sheet-like member. 3. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein at least a part of the guide includes an inclined surface inclined downward toward a downstream side in the discharging direction. 4. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the first end side of the receiving member overlaps with the guide when viewed in the vertical direction. 5. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the sliding portion slides along a rail. 6. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a width of the receiving member in a width direction of the recording medium is wider than a maximum width of the roll sheet set at the set portion. 7. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the holding portion is wrapped with the receiving member at the first end side. 8. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a second holding portion configured to hold the second end side of the receiving member, wherein the second holding portion is moved by the sliding portion. 9. The recording apparatus according to claim 8 , wherein a position of the second holding portion is lower than a position of the holding portion in the vertical direction. 10. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a second set portion provided below the set portion and configured to set a recording medium wound into a roll sheet. 11. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein in a case that the sliding portion is in the first position, the second end of the receiving member is disposed downstream of the first end of the receiving member with respect to the discharging direction. 12. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the set portion is disposed below the guide in the vertical direction.
