The invention claimed is: 1. A mixture for a secondary battery electrode comprising; (a) a binder comprising a polymer compound, and (b) an active material, wherein the polymer compound contains an acrylic repeating unit, and wherein a 3% by mass aqueous solution of the polymer compound has a yellowness index of 14 or less. 2. The mixture for a secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the polymer compound contains a repeating unit represented by formula (1): wherein each R 1 is independently a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and each R 2 is independently an NH 2 group, an OH group, an ONa group, or an OLi group. 3. The mixture for a secondary battery electrode according to claim 1 , wherein the active material contains a carbon material. 4. The mixture for a secondary battery electrode according to claim 1 , wherein the active material contains at least one of silicon and silicon oxide. 5. An electrode for a secondary battery comprising the mixture for a secondary battery electrode according to claim 1 . 6. A secondary battery comprising the electrode for a secondary battery according to claim 5 . 7. A lithium-ion secondary battery comprising the electrode for a secondary battery according to claim 5 . 8. The mixture for a secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the polymer compound contains a repeating unit represented by formula (2): 9. A method of using the mixture for a secondary battery electrode according to claim 1 as a binder for a secondary battery. 10. The method according to claim 9 , wherein the polymer compound contains a repeating unit represented by Formula (1): wherein each R 1 is independently a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and each R 2 is independently an NH 2 group, an OH group, an ONa group, or an OLi group.
