A negative electrode mixture for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell according to the present invention includes: a negative electrode active material; a conductive assistant; and a binder. The binder contains a copolymer of vinyl alcohol and an alkali metal-neutralized product of ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid.

A negative electrode mixture for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell, comprising: a negative electrode active material; a conductive assistant; and a binder containing a copolymer of vinyl alcohol and an alkali metal-neutralized product of ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid. 2 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 1 , wherein a content of the copolymer of the vinyl alcohol and the alkali metal-neutralized product of ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid in the binder is greater than or equal to 20% by mass and less than or equal to 100% by mass. 3 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 2 , wherein the content of the copolymer of the vinyl alcohol and the alkali metal-neutralized product of ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid in the binder is greater than or equal to 30% by mass and less than or equal to 100% by mass. 4 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 1 , wherein a content of the binder relative to the total mass of the negative electrode active material, the conductive assistant, and the binder is greater than or equal to 0.5% by mass and less than or equal to 40% by mass. 5 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 1 , wherein a copolymer composition ratio of the alkali metal-neutralized product of ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid to the vinyl alcohol in the copolymer is 95/5-5/95 in terms of a molar ratio. 6 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 1 , wherein the alkali metal-neutralized product of ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid is an alkali metal-neutralized product of acrylic acid or an alkali metal-neutralized product of methacrylic acid. 7 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 1 , wherein the negative electrode active material contains at least one selected from the group consisting of silicon, a silicon compound, and a carbon material. 8 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 7 , wherein the negative electrode active material is a complex of the carbon material and the silicon or the silicon compound. 9 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 8 , wherein a ratio of the carbon material to the silicon or the silicon compound in the complex of the carbon material and the silicon or the silicon compound is 5/95-95/5 in terms of a mass ratio. 10 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 7 , wherein the carbon material is amorphous carbon. 11 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 10 , wherein the amorphous carbon contains soft carbon or hard carbon. 12 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 1 , wherein the conductive assistant contains a carbon nanofiber or a carbon nanotube. 13 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 12 , wherein a content of the carbon nanofiber or the carbon nanotube in the conductive assistant is greater than or equal to 5% by mass and less than or equal to 100% by mass. 14 . A negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell, fabricated using the negative electrode mixture of claim 1 . 15 . A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell, comprising: the negative electrode of claim 14 . 16 . An electrical device, comprising: the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell of claim 15 . 17 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 2 , wherein a content of the binder relative to the total mass of the negative electrode active material, the conductive assistant, and the binder is greater than or equal to 0.5% by mass and less than or equal to 40% by mass. 18 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 3 , wherein a content of the binder relative to the total mass of the negative electrode active material, the conductive assistant, and the binder is greater than or equal to 0.5% by mass and less than or equal to 40% by mass. 19 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 2 , wherein a copolymer composition ratio of the alkali metal-neutralized product of ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid to the vinyl alcohol in the copolymer is 95/5-5/95 in terms of a molar ratio. 20 . The negative electrode mixture of claim 3 , wherein a copolymer composition ratio of the alkali metal-neutralized product of ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid to the vinyl alcohol in the copolymer is 95/5-5/95 in terms of a molar ratio.
