Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A lawn mower includes a blade assembly configured to perform a cutting function. The blade assembly includes an upper blade mounted about a blade rotation axis and an upper blade proximal portion being substantially flat and including a first cutting edge. A lower blade is mounted in overlap with the upper blade about the blade rotation axis. The lower blade includes a lower blade proximal portion positioned outward from the lower blade mounting portion in a radial direction, a lower blade end portion positioned outward from the lower blade proximal portion and below the lower blade proximal portion, and a second cutting edge. A lower blade falling portion transitions from the lower blade proximal portion to the lower blade end portion.

First claim

What is claimed is: 1. A lawn mower, comprising: a blade assembly comprising a first blade and a second blade, wherein the second blade is disposed on a lower side of the first blade and a ratio of a sweep volume to a number of cutting portions of the blade assembly is about 1700 cm 3 ; a deck formed with an accommodation space for accommodating at least a portion of the blade assembly; a motor configured to drive the blade assembly to rotate about a rotation axis; a battery pack configured to provided power source for the motor, wherein the battery pack comprises a battery pack housing and battery cells provided in the battery pack housing; and a mounting assembly configured to mount the blade assembly to the motor, wherein when the motor drives the blade assembly to rotate around the rotation axis with no load, a working time of the lawn mower with 100 WH energy consumption of the battery pack is defined as a no-load battery life of the lawn mower, and the no-load battery life of the lawn mower is greater than or equal to 9 min, wherein the first blade is substantially coplanar along an entire length of the first blade, the first blade comprises a first mounting portion provided with a first mounting hole for mounting the first blade about the rotation axis, and the second blade comprises a second mounting portion provided with a second mounting hole for mounting the second blade about the rotation axis, and wherein the first blade further comprises a first cutting portion provided with a first cutting edge, the second blade further comprises a second cutting portion provided with a second cutting edge and a falling portion located along the length of the second blade so that the second mounting portion is proximate to the first mounting portion and the second cutting portion extends away from the first cutting portion, and the falling portion connects the second mounting portion and the second cutting portion, and wherein the falling portion extends from the first blade at a location adjacent the first cutting portion. 2. The lawn mower of claim 1 , wherein the no-load battery life of the lawn mower is less than or equal to 35 min. 3. The lawn mower of claim 1 , wherein the no-load battery life of the lawn mower is greater than 12 min. 4. The lawn mower of claim 1 , wherein the no-load battery life of the lawn mower is greater than 18 min. 5. The lawn mower of claim 1 , wherein the motor comprises a drive shaft for supporting the blade assembly, and the drive shaft passes through the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole. 6. The lawn mower of claim 1 , wherein a mass of the blade assembly is greater than or equal to 0.35 kg and less than or equal to 1.8 kg. 7. The lawn mower of claim 1 , wherein when the motor drives the blade assembly to rotate about the rotation axis and a linear velocity of a tip of the blade assembly is greater than or equal to 40 m/s and less than or equal 100 m/s, the working time of the lawn mower with 100 WH energy consumption of the battery pack is defined as a hectowatt-hour battery life of the lawn mower, and the hectowatt-hour battery life of the lawn mower is greater than or equal to 4 min. 8. A lawn mower, comprising: a blade assembly comprising a first blade and a second blade, wherein the second blade is disposed on a lower side of the first blade and a ratio of a sweep volume to a number of cutting portions of the blade assembly is about 1700 cm3; a deck formed with an accommodation space for accommodating at least a portion of the blade assembly; a motor configured to drive the blade assembly to rotate about a rotation axis; a battery pack configured to provided power source for the motor, wherein the battery pack comprises a battery pack housing and battery cells provided in the battery pack housing; and a mounting assembly configured to mount the blade assembly to the motor, wherein when the motor drives the blade assembly to rotate around the rotation axis with no load, a working time of the lawn mower with 100 WH energy consumption of the battery pack is defined as a no-load battery life of the lawn mower, and the no-load battery life of the lawn mower is greater than or equal to 9 min, wherein the first blade is substantially coplanar along an entire length of the first blade, the first blade comprises a first mounting portion provided with a first mounting hole for mounting the first blade about the rotation axis, and the second blade comprises a second mounting portion provided with a second mounting hole for mounting the second blade about the rotation axis, and wherein the first blade further comprises a first cutting portion provided with a first cutting edge, the second blade further comprises a second cutting portion provided with a second cutting edge and a falling portion located along the length of the second blade so that the second mounting portion is proximate to the first mounting portion and the second cutting portion extends away from the first cutting portion, and the falling portion connects the second mounting portion and the second cutting portion.
