Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device, such as a notebook computer or laptop, which includes a circuit board coupled to a plurality of electronic components (which includes any type of components, elements, circuitry, etc.). One particular example implementation of the electronic device may include a low profile hinge design that includes a micro-hinge. The micro-hinge can couple a first element to a second element and can include a first attachment that couples to the first element, a second attachment that couples to the second element, and a plurality of linkages that couples the first attachment to the second attachment. The low profile hinge can further include a plurality of micro-hinges and a plurality of support rods.

What is claimed is: 1. An electronic device comprising: a base having a first perimeter; a keyboard having a second perimeter, the second perimeter being smaller than the first perimeter; a display portion having a third perimeter; a touch screen carried by the display portion, the touch screen having a fourth perimeter, the fourth perimeter being smaller than the third perimeter; and a hinge to secure the display portion to the base, the hinge including a base linkage, a display linkage, and a plurality of intermediate linkages, the base linkage closer to the base than the plurality of intermediate linkages, the display linkage closer to the display portion than the plurality of intermediate linkages, a first one of the plurality of intermediate linkages coupled with the base linkage, a second one of the plurality of intermediate linkages coupled with the display linkage, the base linkage, the display linkage, the first one of the plurality of intermediate linkages, and the second one of the plurality of intermediate linkages defining longitudinal axes in parallel to one another, the base linkage, the display linkage, the first one of the plurality of intermediate linkages, and the second one of the plurality of intermediate linkages to rotate in a first direction to enable the display portion to move to a first position in which the touch screen faces the keyboard, and the base linkage, the display linkage, the first one of the plurality of intermediate linkages, and the second one of the plurality of intermediate linkages to rotate in a second direction to enable the display portion to move to a second position in which the touch screen faces away from the base. 2. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the display linkage is a first display linkage, and the hinge includes a second display linkage, wherein the first display linkage is spaced apart from the second display linkage along a length of the base. 3. The electronic device as defined in claim 2 , wherein the hinge includes at least one support between the first display linkage and the second display linkage. 4. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the hinge is to enable the display portion to rest in the second position with the touch screen facing away from the base. 5. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the hinge is to support the display portion in an at least partially upright position relative to the base when the display portion is in the first position. 6. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the hinge is to carry at least a portion of an electrical component of the electronic device. 7. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , further including a touchpad. 8. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the base linkage, the display linkage, and the plurality of intermediate linkages at least partially define an arch when the display portion is in one of the first position or the second position. 9. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein the base linkage, the display linkage, the first one of the plurality of intermediate linkages, and the second one of the plurality of intermediate linkages are to rotate to move the display portion to a third position in which the base and the display portion are substantially coplanar. 10. The electronic device as defined in claim 1 , wherein at least two of the plurality of intermediate linkages are intercoupled. 11. An electronic device comprising: a base; a keyboard; a display housing; a touch screen carried by the display housing; and a hinge including at least three linkages to secure the display housing to the base, at least a portion of a first one of the linkages received in a region defined by a second one of the linkages, the linkages defining longitudinal axes in parallel to one another, the linkages to rotate in a first direction to enable the display to move to a first position in which the touch screen faces the keyboard, and the linkages to rotate in a second direction to enable the display to move to a second position in which the touch screen faces away from the base. 12. The electronic device as defined in claim 11 , wherein the first one of the linkages defines a first opening and the second one of the linkages defines a second opening, and wherein the hinge includes a rod extending through the second opening and into the first opening to secure the first one of the linkages to the second one of the linkages. 13. The electronic device as defined in claim 12 , wherein the first opening of the first one of the linkages is defined in the at least the portion of the first one of the linkages received in the region defined by the second one of the linkages. 14. The electronic device as defined in claim 11 , wherein the second one of the linkages is closer to the base than a third one of the linkages. 15. The electronic device as defined in claim 11 , wherein the second one of the linkages is closer to the display housing than the first one of the linkages. 16. The electronic device as defined in claim 11 , wherein the region is defined by a first support of the second one of the linkages and a second support of the second one of the linkages, the first support spaced apart from the second support. 17. The electronic device as defined in claim 11 , wherein the hinge is to enable the display housing to rest in the second position with the touch screen facing away from the base. 18. The electronic device as defined in claim 11 , wherein the hinge is to support the display housing in an at least partially upright position relative to the base when the display housing is in the first position. 19. The electronic device as defined in claim 11 , wherein the hinge is to carry at least a portion of an electrical component of the electronic device. 20. The electronic device as defined in claim 11 , further including a touchpad. 21. The electronic device as defined in claim 11 , wherein the linkages are to rotate to move the display housing to a third position in which the base and the display housing are substantially coplanar. 22.
