A vehicular driving assistance system is operable to control driving of a vehicle when operating in a driving assist mode. When the vehicular driving assistance system is not operating in the driving assist mode, a driver controls driving of the vehicle. The system identifies the driver and receives information pertaining to operation by the identified driver of the vehicle while the vehicle is driven by the identified driver. The system generates first and second personalized parameter sets for the identified driver when the driver drives the vehicle during respective first and second driving conditions. When the system is operating in the driving assist mode and the identified driver is present in the vehicle, and responsive to a current driving condition of the vehicle corresponding to one of the determined driving conditions, the system controls the vehicle in accordance with the respective generated personalized parameter set for that driving condition.

The invention claimed is: 1. A vehicular driving assistance system, the vehicular driving assistance system comprising: a forward viewing camera disposed at an in-cabin side of a windshield of a vehicle equipped with the vehicular driving assistance system, the forward viewing camera viewing forward through the windshield in the direction of forward travel of the equipped vehicle; an electronic control unit (ECU) at the equipped vehicle; wherein the ECU comprises electronic circuitry; wherein the electronic circuitry comprises an image processor; wherein the vehicular driving assistance system, when operating in an autonomous driving assist mode, controls driving of the equipped vehicle by controlling (i) acceleration of the equipped vehicle, (ii) braking of the equipped vehicle and (iii) steering of the equipped vehicle; wherein, when the vehicular driving assistance system is not operating in the autonomous driving assist mode, a driver present in the equipped vehicle drives the equipped vehicle via (i) acceleration of the equipped vehicle, (ii) braking of the equipped vehicle and (iii) steering of the equipped vehicle; a cabin monitoring camera, wherein the vehicular driving assistance system identifies the driver present in the equipped vehicle via processing of image data captured by the cabin monitoring camera; wherein, when the vehicular driving assistance system is not operating in the autonomous driving assist mode and the identified driver is driving the equipped vehicle, and based at least in part on processing of image data captured by the forward viewing camera, the vehicular driving assistance system determines at least (i) a first driving condition driven by the identified driver and (ii) a second driving condition driven by the identified driver; wherein, when the vehicular driving assistance system is not operating in the autonomous driving assist mode and the identified driver is driving the equipped vehicle, information pertaining to driving by the identified driver of the equipped vehicle while the equipped vehicle is driven by the identified driver is provided to the ECU, and wherein the provided information pertains at least to (i) acceleration of the equipped vehicle by the identified driver, (ii) braking of the equipped vehicle by the identified driver and (iii) steering of the equipped vehicle by the identified driver; wherein the vehicular driving assistance system is operable to generate a personalized parameter set for the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle based on the provided information; wherein the information pertaining to driving by the identified driver of the equipped vehicle is provided to the ECU when the identified driver is driving the equipped vehicle at least during the determined first driving condition and when the identified driver is driving the equipped vehicle at least during the determined second driving condition; wherein, based on the provided information when the identified driver is driving the equipped vehicle during the determined first driving condition, the vehicular driving assistance system generates a first personalized parameter set for the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle based on how the identified driver controls driving of the equipped vehicle during the determined first driving condition; wherein the generated first personalized parameter set for the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle comprises how the equipped vehicle accelerates, brakes and steers the equipped vehicle while the equipped vehicle is driven by the identified driver during the determined first driving condition; wherein, based on the provided information when the identified driver is driving the equipped vehicle during the determined second driving condition, the vehicular driving assistance system generates a second personalized parameter set for the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle based on how the identified driver controls driving of the equipped vehicle during the determined second driving condition; wherein the generated second personalized parameter set for the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle comprises how the equipped vehicle accelerates, brakes and steers the equipped vehicle while the equipped vehicle is driven by the identified driver during the determined second driving condition; wherein, when the vehicular driving assistance system is operating in the autonomous driving assist mode and the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle is not driving the equipped vehicle, and responsive to a current driving condition of the equipped vehicle corresponding to the determined first driving condition, the vehicular driving assistance system controls the equipped vehicle in accordance with the generated first personalized parameter set for the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle; and wherein, when the vehicular driving assistance system is operating in the autonomous driving assist mode and the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle is not driving the equipped vehicle, and responsive to the current driving condition of the equipped vehicle corresponding to the determined second driving condition, the vehicular driving assistance system controls the equipped vehicle in accordance with the generated second personalized parameter set for the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle. 2. The vehicular driving assistance system of claim 1 , wherein, when the vehicular driving assistance system is operating in the autonomous driving assist mode, the vehicular driving assistance system allows temporary overriding of the autonomous driving assist mode, without disabling the autonomous driving assist mode, by takeover of driving control of the equipped vehicle by the driver. 3. The vehicular driving assistance system of claim 2 , wherein, responsive at least in part to the driver temporarily overriding the autonomous driving assist mode while the vehicular driving assistance system is still operating in the autonomous driving assist mode, the vehicular driving assistance system updates the first personalized parameter set for the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle based at least in part on action of the driver when the driver temporarily overrides the autonomous driving assist mode while the vehicular driving assistance system is operating in the autonomous driving assist mode during the determined first driving condition. 4. The vehicular driving assistance system of claim 1 , wherein the vehicular driving assistance system generates the first personalized parameter set for the identified driver present in the equipped vehicle by learning, while the identified driver is driving the equipped vehicle during the determined first driving condition, at least one parameter indicative of the identified driver's preference for operation of or use of at least one accessory or system of the equipped vehicle. 5. The vehicular driving assistance system of claim 1 , wherein the vehicular driving assistance system learns at least one parameter of the first personalized parameter set in accordance with information that has been provided to the ECU pertaining to driving by the identified driver of the equipped vehicle while the equipped vehicle was driven by the identified driver during the determined first driving condition. 6. The vehicular driving assistance system of claim 1 , wherein the vehicular driving assistance system changes from controlling the equipped vehicle in accordance with the generated first personalized parameter set to controlling the equipped vehicle in accordance with the generated second personalized parameter set based on a change in the driving condition of the equipped vehicle from the first driving condition to the second d
