A variety of configurations of implant management devices are provided. The configurations provide different combinations of features for maintaining a location of an implant with respect to the device and managing filaments of the implant. One exemplary embodiment of a device includes a generally rectangular-shaped body having an implantable body retainer, an opening disposed a distance apart from the retainer and configured to receive a ligament graft therein, and a fold extending across the body and intersecting the opening. Folding one end of the body towards a bottom surface of the body along the fold can form a filament loop engaging region to hold in tension a filament loop extending from the implant. Additional filament(s) associated with the implant can be managed by various filament retention features. Methods for preparing a ligament graft for implantation by relying upon indicia formed on a surface of the device body are also provided.

The invention claimed is: 1. A surgical implant management device, comprising: a body having a first end, a second end, opposed walls extending between the first and second ends, a top side, and a bottom side, the body further comprising: an implantable body retainer configured to retain an implantable body on the top side of the body; a pair of opposed tabs formed from a portion of the body and configured to extend away from the body to hold one or more filament limbs extending from a first side of the implantable body; and an opening having an open pathway to the second end and located more proximate to the second end of the body than the first end, the opening located such that a filament loop opening defined by one or more filament loops extending from a second side of the implantable body retained by the implantable body retainer is disposed primarily around the opening of the body, the second side of the implantable body being opposite the first side of the implantable body, wherein the body is configured to retain the implantable body and the one or more filament limbs without one portion of the body overlapping another portion of the body to have the implantable body disposed therebetween. 2. The device of claim 1 , wherein the body further comprises a filament loop engaging region configured to receive one or more filament loops extending from the second side of the implantable body opposite the first side. 3. The device of claim 2 , wherein the filament loop engaging region is located such that the filament loop opening defined by one or more filament loops received therein is disposed primarily around the opening of the body. 4. The device of claim 2 , wherein the filament loop engaging region comprises a pair of recesses that extend through the second end of the body, the recesses configured to receive a portion of the one or more filament loops therein. 5. The device of claim 1 , wherein the tabs are configured to hold one or more filament limbs extending from an implantable body associated with the body by way of the one or more filament limbs being wrapped around the filament receiving region. 6. The device of claim 1 , wherein a longitudinal axis of the pair of opposed tabs extending from a first end of the opposed tabs to a second end of the opposed tabs that substantially bisects the pair of opposed tabs is offset from a central longitudinal axis of the body that extends from the first end to the second end that substantially bisects the body. 7. The device of claim 6 , wherein the longitudinal axis of the pair of opposed tabs is substantially parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the body. 8. The device of claim 1 , wherein each tab of the pair of opposed tabs further comprises a formation fold along which the respective tab is configured to be moved away from the body. 9. The device of claim 1 , wherein the opening extends through the second end of the body. 10. The device of claim 1 , further comprising a hole formed in the body and in communication with a slit formed in the first end, the hole being configured to receive the one or more filament limbs extending from the implantable body via the slit. 11. The device of claim 1 , further comprising an alignment opening formed adjacent to the implantable body retainer, the alignment opening being configured to align the device on a graft preparation board. 12. The device of claim 1 , wherein a longitudinal axis extending from the first end to the second end of the body, approximately parallel to the opposed walls, substantially bisects the opening. 13. The deice of claim 1 , wherein the implantable body retainer further comprises at least one tab configured to extend away from one of the top or bottom sides. 14. The device of claim 1 , further comprising: an implantable body; and one or more filament loops coupled to the implantable body, the one or more filament loops having at least one limb extending therefrom, wherein the at least one limb is coupled to the pair of opposed tabs while the implantable body is retained by the implantable body retainer. 15. The device of claim 14 , further comprising at least one of a shuttle filament and a toggle filament coupled to the implantable body, the at least one of the shuttle filament and the toggle filament being held in tension by the pair of opposed tabs. 16. A surgical implant management device, comprising: a body having a first end, a second end, opposed walls extending between the first and second ends, a top side, and a bottom side, the body further comprising: an implantable body retainer configured to retain an implantable body on the top side of the body; a pair of opposed tabs formed from a portion of the body and configured to extend away from the body to hold one or more filament limbs extending from a first side of the implantable body; and an opening located more proximate to the second end of the body than the first end, the opening located such that a filament loop opening defined by one or more filament loops extending from a second side of the implantable body retained by the implantable body retainer is disposed primarily around the opening of the body, the second side of the implantable body being opposite the first side of the implantable body, wherein a distance measured on the body between a terminal end of at least one tab of the pair of opposed tabs and the implantable body retainer is less than a distance measured on the body between a terminal end of the opening and the implantable body retainer, wherein the body is configured to retain the implantable body and the one or more filament limbs without one portion of the body overlapping another portion of the body to have the implantable body disposed therebetween. 17. The device of claim 16 , wherein the body further comprises a filament loop engaging region configured to receive one or more filament loops extending from the second side of the implantable body opposite the first side. 18. The device of claim 17 , wherein the filament loop engaging region comprises a pair of recesses that extend through the second end of the body, the recesses configured to receive a portion of the one or more filament loops therein. 19. The device of claim 16 , wherein a longitudinal axis of the pair of opposed tabs extending from a first end of the opposed tabs to a second end of the opposed tabs that substantially bisects the pair of opposed tabs is offset from a central longitudinal axis of the body that extends from the first end to the second end that substantially bisects the body. 20. The device of claim 19 , wherein the longitudinal axis of the pair of opposed tabs is substantially parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the body. 21.
