A motor assembly includes a motor, a housing that houses the motor, an inverter that is electrically connected to the motor, an inverter case that houses the inverter and is provided integrally with the housing, a wire harness electrically connected between a connector of the inverter case and a connector of the housing, a cooling water hose connecting between a hose nipple of the inverter case and a hose nipple of the housing, and a retainer to fix the wire harness and the cooling water hose in a bundled state to the housing. The housing includes an axle connecting portion to which an axle of a vehicle is connected, and the wire harness is farther away from the axle than the cooling water hose at a position facing the axle.

What is claimed is: 1. A motor assembly comprising: a motor; a housing that houses the motor; an inverter that is electrically connected to the motor; an inverter case that houses the inverter and is provided integrally with the housing; a wire harness electrically connected between a connector of the inverter case and a connector of the housing; a cooling water hose connected between a hose nipple of the inverter case and a hose nipple of the housing; and a retainer to fix the wire harness and the cooling water hose in a bundled state to the housing; wherein the housing includes an axle connecting portion to which an axle of a vehicle is connected; and the wire harness is farther away from the axle than the cooling water hose at a position facing the axle. 2. The motor assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the motor includes a rotor that rotates around a motor axis, and a stator that faces the rotor in a radial direction; the motor axis is parallel or substantially parallel to the axle; and the wire harness and the cooling water hose are each disposed side by side in the radial direction at a position facing the axle. 3. The motor assembly according to claim 2 , wherein the retainer includes a base portion fixed to the housing, and a plurality of holding portions that sandwich and hold at least one of the wire harness and the cooling water hose. 4. The motor assembly according to claim 3 , wherein at least one of the plurality of holding portions prevents movement of the wire harness toward the axle. 5. The motor assembly according to claim 3 , wherein the base portion is fixed to the housing with bolts; and at least one of the plurality of holding portions holds the wire harness or the cooling water hose sandwiched between heads of the respective bolts. 6. The motor assembly according to claim 3 , further comprising: a binding band fastening the wire harness and the cooling water hose to the retainer. 7. The motor assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the retainer includes a binding band that fastens the wire harness and the cooling water hose to the housing.
