Compounds having the following formula I: or a stereoisomer or pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof, where R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , and R 5 are as defined herein, are useful in the modulation of IL-12, IL-23 and/or IFNα, by acting on Tyk-2 to cause signal transduction inhibition.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of treating psoriasis in a subject, the method comprising orally administering to the subject a composition comprising a compound of the following formula: which is 6-(cyclopropaneamido)-4-((2-methoxy-3-(1-methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)phenyl)amino)-N-(methyl-d3)pyridazine-3-carboxamide. 2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition is in the form of a tablet, a capsule, granules, a powder, or a liquid formulation. 3. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the composition is in the form of a tablet. 4. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the composition is in the form of a capsule. 5. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the composition is in the form of granules. 6. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the composition is in the form of a powder. 7. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the composition is in the form of a liquid formulation. 8. The method according to claim 7 , wherein the composition is in the form of a syrup. 9. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition is orally administered to the subject 1 to 4 times per day. 10. The method according to claim 9 , wherein the composition is in the form of a tablet. 11. A method of treating psoriasis in a subject, the method comprising orally administering to the subject, 1 to 2 times per day, a tablet comprising a compound of the following formula: which is 6-(cyclopropaneamido)-4-((2-methoxy-3-(1-methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)phenyl)amino)-N-(methyl-d3)pyridazine-3-carboxamide. 12. The method according to claim 11 , wherein 1 tablet per day is administered to the subject. 13. The method according to claim 11 , wherein 2 tablets per day are administered to the subject. 14. A method of treating psoriasis in a subject, the method comprising orally administering to the subject, 1 to 2 times per day, a tablet comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of a compound of the following formula: which is 6-(cyclopropaneamido)-4-((2-methoxy-3-(1-methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)phenyl)amino)-N-(methyl-d3)pyridazine-3-carboxamide. 15. The method according to claim 14 , wherein 1 tablet per day is administered to the subject. 16. The method according to claim 14 , wherein 2 tablets per day are administered to the subject.
