The compound may be prepared as a pharmaceutical composition, and may be used for the treatment of a variety of conditions in mammals including humans, including by way of non-limiting example, inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, proliferative diseases, transplantation rejection, diseases involving impairment of cartilage turnover, congenital cartilage malformations, and/or diseases associated with hypersecretion of IL6.

What is claimed is: 1. A method for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus, comprising administering an amount of a compound of Formula I: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, sufficient to effect said treatment. 2. The method according to claim 1 , comprising administering a further therapeutic agent. 3. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the further therapeutic agent is an agent for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus. 4. A method for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus, comprising administering an amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a pharmaceutically effective amount of a compound of Formula I: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, sufficient to effect said treatment. 5. The method according to claim 4 , comprising administering a further therapeutic agent. 6. The method according to claim 5 , wherein the further therapeutic agent is an agent for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus. 7. The method according to claim 2 , wherein the compound of Formula I and the further therapeutic agent are administered in combination. 8. The method according to claim 7 , wherein the further therapeutic agent is an agent for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus. 9. The method according to claim 5 , wherein the pharmaceutical composition and the further therapeutic agent are administered in combination. 10. The method according to claim 9 , wherein the further therapeutic agent is an agent for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus.
