The invention claimed is: 1. A sound absorbing device comprising: a plurality of sound absorbers including necks forming openings and cavities; a sound detector configured to detect a frequency of a sound; a driver configured to change lengths of the necks with respect to the cavities; and a controller configured to control driving of the driver based on a result of detection of the sound by the sound detector. 2. The sound absorbing device according to claim 1 , wherein the necks are part of a first member forming the cavities with the lengths of the necks extending in a direction opposite to the cavities from the first member. 3. The sound absorbing device according to claim 2 , wherein the sound detector is in the first member. 4. The sound absorbing device according to claim 1 , wherein the frequency of the sound absorbed by the plurality of sound absorbers are adjusted by changing the lengths of the necks with respect to the cavities. 5. An electronic device comprising: the sound absorbing device according to claim 1 ; and a sound source configured to generate the sound. 6. An image forming apparatus comprising: the electronic device according to claim 5 , the electronic device configured to form an image on a recording medium. 7. The image forming apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the sound is generated as a byproduct of operation of the electronic device.
