A system includes an agricultural metering system a meter roller configured to meter product from an agricultural product storage compartment to a product distribution system via rotation of the meter roller. The meter roller includes a first meter roller segment having a first plurality of flutes and a corresponding first plurality of recesses, and a second meter roller segment having a second plurality of flutes and a corresponding second plurality of recesses. The first meter roller segment includes a first profile, the second meter roller includes a second profile, and the first profile is different from the second profile. The system also has a dividing ring axially positioned between the first meter roller segment and the second meter roller segment.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method of configuring an agricultural metering system, comprising: selectively directing a flow of product into one of a first segment of a meter roller or a second segment of the meter roller, and into the first and second segments of the meter roller to control the flow of the product through the meter roller to a product distribution system while the meter roller is rotating, wherein the meter roller is disposed within a housing of the agricultural metering system; wherein selectively directing the flow of the product comprises positioning a slide in one of a first position or a second position relative to the housing, the slide is configured to block the flow of the product into one of the first segment or the second segment while the slide is in the first position, and the slide is configured to facilitate the flow of the product into the first and second segments while the slide is in the second position. 2. The method of claim 1 , comprising dividing the flow of the product via a dividing ring positioned between the first segment and the second segment, wherein the dividing ring is non-rotatably coupled to the first segment and to the second segment. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first segment has a first profile, and the second segment has a second profile, different from the first profile. 4. A method of configuring an agricultural metering system, comprising: positioning a slide relative to a housing of the agricultural metering system to selectively direct a flow of product into one of a first segment of a meter roller disposed within the housing or a second segment of the meter roller, and into the first and second segments of the meter roller to control the flow of the product through the meter roller to a product distribution system while the meter roller is rotating. 5. The method of claim 4 , comprising positioning the slide relative to the housing to selectively direct the flow of the product into a third segment of the meter roller. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the first segment has a first profile, and the third segment has a second profile, different from the first profile. 7. The method of claim 4 , wherein the first segment of the meter roller has a first axial length, the second segment of the meter roller has a second axial length, and the first axial length is different from the second axial length. 8. The method of claim 4 , comprising dividing the flow of the product via a dividing ring positioned between the first segment and the second segment, wherein the dividing ring is non-rotatably coupled to the first segment and to the second segment. 9. The method of claim 4 , wherein positioning the slide comprises selectively translating the slide to a first position configured to block the flow of the product into one of the first segment or the second segment. 10. The method of claim 4 , wherein positioning the slide comprises selectively translating the slide to a second position configured to facilitate the flow of the product into the first and second segments. 11. A method of configuring an agricultural metering system, comprising: positioning a slide relative to a meter roller to selectively direct a flow of product into one of a first segment of the meter roller or a second segment of the meter roller, and into the first and second segments of the meter roller to control the flow of the product through the meter roller to a product distribution system while the meter roller is rotating; wherein the first segment of the meter roller has a first axial length, the second segment of the meter roller has a second axial length, and the first axial length is different from the second axial length. 12. The method of claim 11 , comprising positioning the slide relative to the meter roller to selectively direct the flow of the product into a third segment of the meter roller. 13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the first segment has a first profile, and the third segment has a second profile, different from the first profile. 14. The method of claim 11 , comprising dividing the flow of the product via a dividing ring positioned between the first segment and the second segment, wherein the dividing ring is non-rotatably coupled to the first segment and to the second segment. 15. The method of claim 11 , wherein positioning the slide comprises selectively translating the slide to a first position configured to block the flow of the product into one of the first segment or the second segment. 16. The method of claim 11 , wherein positioning the slide comprises selectively translating the slide to a second position configured to facilitate the flow of the product into the first and second segments.
