What is claimed: 1. A roll of surface protector configured to protect selected portions of floor surfaces, said surface protector system comprises: a continuous single sheet of bendable water-resistant material having a longitudinal length of at least 10 feet and a width of at least 2 feet that has been rolled and formed into said roll of surface protector system, said continuous single sheet is in a roll and is absent creases running between a width of said continuous single sheet when said continuous single sheet is rolled into said roll, said continuous single sheet having a perimeter, a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side, a second side which is parallel to said first side and extends along a longitudinal length of said continuous single sheet, a front edge, and a back edge, and a first preformed crease that is offset a distance inward from said first and second sides of said continuous single sheet and positioned on said top surface of said continuous single sheet, said first preformed crease formed along a longitudinal length of said continuous single sheet, said continuous single sheet formed of paperboard or fiberboard, said first preformed crease is preformed in said continuous single sheet and forms a reduced thickness in said continuous single sheet prior to said continuous single sheet being folded along said first preformed crease, said continuous single sheet is configured to be foldable along said first preformed crease to thereby create a first portion and a second portion without damaging said continuous single sheet and without compromising the water-resistant properties of said continuous single sheet along said first preformed crease, said continuous single sheet configured such that said first preformed crease is configured to be water-resistant both prior to and after said continuous single sheet is folded along said first preformed crease; a first preapplied adhesive strip positioned at or adjacent to said perimeter of said continuous single sheet, said first preapplied adhesive strip having a top adhesive surface, said first preapplied adhesive strip on said first surface protector runs parallel to a side edge of said continuous single sheet and along the longitudinal length of said continuous single sheet, said first preapplied adhesive strip positioned on the same side of said continuous single sheet as said first preformed crease, said first preformed crease is spaced a greater distance from said perimeter of said continuous single sheet than said first preapplied adhesive strip, said first preformed crease positioned closer to said second side of said continuous single sheet than said first preapplied adhesive strip, said first preapplied adhesive strip runs parallel to said first side of said continuous single sheet and along the longitudinal length of said continuous single sheet, said first preapplied adhesive strip includes a removable top protective release liner that, when removed, exposes said top adhesive surface of said first preapplied adhesive strip; and, wherein said top adhesive surface is configured to form an adhesive bond with an adjacently positioned surface protector so as to connect together said surface protector and the adjacently positioned surface protector. 2. The surface protector as defined in claim 1 , wherein said continuous single sheet is fiberboard. 3. The surface protector as defined in claim 1 , wherein said first preapplied adhesive strip is the only structure connected to said continuous single sheet when said continuous single sheet is in rolled form. 4. The surface protector as defined in claim 2 , wherein said first preapplied adhesive strip is the only structure connected to said continuous single sheet when said continuous single sheet is in rolled form. 5. The surface protector as defined in claim 4 , wherein said first preapplied adhesive strip is spaced from said first and second sides of said continuous single sheet. 6. The surface protector as defined in claim 1 , wherein said first preapplied adhesive strip is spaced from said first and second sides of said continuous single sheet. 7. A surface protection system for protecting selected portions of floor surfaces, the system comprises: a first surface protector, said first surface protector is formed of a continuous single sheet of rolled bendable water-resistant material, said continuous single sheet when in said roll is absent creases running between a width of said continuous single sheet, water-resistant material having a first preformed crease and a first preapplied adhesive strip, said continuous single sheet having a perimeter, a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side, a second side which is parallel to said first side and extends along a longitudinal length of said continuous single sheet, a front edge, and a back edge, said first preformed crease is offset a distance inward from said first and second sides of said continuous single sheet and positioned on said top surface of said continuous single sheet, said continuous single sheet formed of paperboard or fiberboard, said first preformed crease is preformed in said continuous single sheet and forms a reduced thickness in said continuous single sheet prior to said continuous single sheet being folded along said first preformed crease, said continuous single sheet is capable of being folded along said first preformed crease to thereby create a first portion and a second portion without damaging said continuous single sheet and without compromising the water-resistant properties of said continuous single sheet along said first preformed crease, said first preformed crease is configured to be water-resistant both prior to and after said continuous single sheet is folded along said first preformed crease, said first preapplied adhesive strip positioned at or adjacent to said first side of said continuous single sheet, said first preapplied adhesive strip positioned closer to said first side of said continuous single sheet than said first preformed crease, said first preapplied adhesive strip has a top adhesive surface, said first preapplied adhesive strip positioned on said top surface of said continuous single sheet, a side of said continuous single sheet opposite a side wherein said first preapplied adhesive strip is applied is absent an adhesive strip, said first preapplied adhesive strip includes a removable top protective release liner that, when removed, exposes said top adhesive surface of said first preapplied adhesive strip; and, a second surface protector formed of a continuous single sheet of a bendable water-resistant material having a top surface and a bottom surface, a portion of said second surface protector overlies a portion of said first surface protector and only a portion of a bottom surface of said second surface protector is adhesively connected to said top adhesive surface of said first preapplied adhesive strip on said first surface protector to form an adhesive connection and which adhesive connection forms a permanent connection between said first and second surface protector and a dust-proof connection between said first and second surface protector, said second surface protector absent a preapplied adhesive strip on said bottom surface prior to said second surface protector being connected to said first surface protector. 8. The surface protection system as defined in claim 7 , wherein said second surface protector is formed of a single sheet of paperboard or fiberboard. 9. The surface protection system as defined in claim 7 , wherein said first preformed crease is spaced a greater distance from said perimeter than said first preapplied adhesive strip. 10. The surface protection system as defined in claim 7 , wherein said
