The invention relates to novel compounds of the formula (I) in which Aa, Ab, Ac, Ad, R 1 , Q and n have the definitions given above, to their use as acaricides and/or insecticides for controlling animal pests and to processes and intermediates for their preparation.

A compound of formula (I) wherein Aa is N(R 7 ), —S(O)m—, —O—, —C(R 8 )(R 9 )— or carbonyl, Ab is —N(R 7 )—, —S(O)m—, —O—, —C(R 10 )(R 11 )— or carbonyl, Ac is —N(R 7 )—, —S(O)m—, —O—, —C(R 12 )(R 13 )— or carbonyl, Ad is —N(R 7 )—, —S(O)m—, —O—, —C(R 14 )(R 15 )— or carbonyl, where not more than two of the Aa, Ab, Ac and Ad substituents at the same time can be —N(R 7 )—, —0— or —S(O)m—, R 1 is (C
