The invention relates to novel compounds of the formula (I) in which R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , Q and n have the meanings given above, to their use as acaricides and/or insecticides for controlling animal pests and to processes and intermediates for their preparation.

The invention claimed is: 1. A compound of formula (I) wherein R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 0, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of H, 8-CF 3 , 8-Cl, 8-SC 2 H 5 , 5-CF 3 and 6-CH 3 ; or R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 1, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of 6-Cl, 6-CF 3 , 7-CF 3 , 5-CF 3 , 8-CF 3 and 6-OCH 3 ; or R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 2, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of H, 8-Cl, 5-CF 3 , 8-CF 3 , 8-SO 2 C 2 H 5 , 6-CH 3 and 6-OCH 3 ; or R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 0, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of H, 5-CH 3 , 5-CF 3 , 6-CF 3 , 6-Cl, 7-CF 3 , 5-SC 2 H 5 , 7-SC 2 H 5 , 7-CH 3 and 6-CH 3 ; or R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 1, and R 2 is hydrogen; or R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 2, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of H, 7-CH 3 , 7-CF 3 , 6-CH 3 , 6-CF 3 , 6-Cl and 5-CH 3 ; or R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 2, and R 2 is H. 2. The compound formula (I) according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 0, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of H, 8-CF 3 , 8-Cl, 8-SC 2 H 5 , 5-CF 3 and 6-CH 3 . 3. The compound formula (I) according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 1, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of 6-Cl, 6-CF 3 , 7-CF 3 , 5-CF 3 , 8-CF 3 and 6-OCH3. 4. The compound formula (I) according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 2, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of H, 8-Cl, 5-CF 3 , 8-CF 3 , 8-SO 2 C 2 H 5 , 6-CH 3 and 6-OCH 3 . 5. The compound formula (I) according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 0, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of H, 5-CH 3 , 5-CF 3 , 6-CF 3 , 6-Cl, 7-CF 3 , 5-SC 2 H 5 , 7-SC 2 H 5 , 7-CH 3 and 6-CH 3 . 6. The compound formula (I) according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 1, and R 2 is hydrogen. 7. The compound formula (I) according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 2, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of H, 7-CH 3 , 7-CF 3 , 6-CH 3 , 6-CF 3 , 6-Cl and 5-CH 3 . 8. The compound formula (I) according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is ethyl, R 3 is hydrogen, Q is where the bond from Q to the remainder of the molecule is identified by a wavy line, n is 2, and R 2 is H. 9. The compound formula (I) according to claim 4 , wherein R 2 is hydrogen. 10. A method for controlling one or more animal pests, comprising allowing a compound of the formula (I) according to claim 1 or an agrochemical formulation thereof to act on the animal pests and/or a habitat thereof. 11. An agrochemical formulation comprising one or more compounds according to claim 1 and also one or more extenders and/or surfactants. 12. The agrochemical formulation according to claim 11 , additionally comprising a further agrochemically active compound. 13. The method according to claim 10 , wherein said one or more animal pests comprise insects, arachnids, helminths, nematodes or molluscs. 14. A product comprising a compound of the formula (I) according to claim 1 or an agrochemical formulation thereof for controlling one or more animal pests.
