A grommet configured to provide support for a cable exiting of a housing is presented herein. The grommet has a generally elongate shape extending along a longitudinal axis. The grommet includes a sealing part configured to interact with an inner wall of an exit point of the housing, a sleeve arranged around the longitudinal axis and configured to be arranged outside of the housing to act as a cable relief on the outside of the housing, the sealing part, and one or more reinforcement members provided in a transition region between the sealing part and the sleeve. An electronic member including an electric cable connected to an electronic component present within the housing of the electronic member and the grommet as well as a method of the forming grommet is also presented.

We claim: 1. A grommet configured to provide support for a cable exiting of a housing, said grommet having a generally elongate shape extending along a longitudinal axis, said grommet comprising: a sealing part configured to interact with an inner wall of an exit point of the housing; a sleeve arranged around the longitudinal axis and configured to be arranged outside of the housing to act as a cable relief on the outside of the housing, wherein a first material forming the sealing part and the sleeve is softer than a second material forming the one or more reinforcement members; one or more reinforcement members provided in a transition region between the sealing part and the sleeve; and a skeleton, wherein the skeleton comprises one of the one or more reinforcement members configured as a peripherally extending ring projecting from the skeleton and through the sealing part, wherein the skeleton comprises a body portion arranged between the attachment part and said one of the one or more reinforcement members, wherein the body portion defines a plurality of apertures, wherein the skeleton is at least partly over-molded to form at least one of the sealing part and the sleeve, and wherein over-molded material of the at least one of the sealing part and the sleeve is disposed within the apertures and on two sides of the body portion, thereby fixedly attaching the at least one of the sealing part and the sleeve to the body portion. 2. The grommet in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the sealing part comprises an outer surface and the one or more reinforcement members are provided in the outer surface and the transition region. 3. The grommet in accordance with claim 2 , wherein the outer surface of the sealing part comprises a planar surface region arranged between a wall of the sleeve and a sealing lip that is arranged furthest away from a housing end of the grommet. 4. The grommet in accordance with claim 3 , wherein the one or more reinforcement members interact with the outer surface by projecting from the planar surface region in the transition region in order to act on the inner wall. 5. The grommet in accordance with claim 1 , further comprising an attachment part on the housing end of the grommet, wherein the skeleton comprises a body portion arranged between the attachment part and said one of the one or more reinforcement members. 6. The grommet in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the attachment part comprises a peripheral ring recess. 7. The grommet in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the sealing part is formed in an outer surface of the body portion. 8. The grommet in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the attachment part is integrally formed with the skeleton. 9. The grommet in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the body portion is characterized as having a generally cylindrical shape. 10. An electronic member, comprising: an electric cable connected to an electronic component present within the housing of the electronic member; and the grommet according to claim 1 , wherein the electric cable is guided to said electronic component within the housing via the grommet. 11. The electronic member in accordance with claim 10 , wherein the grommet is attached and fixed in position relative to the housing via the attachment part. 12. A method of forming a grommet, comprising the steps of: providing a sleeve and a sealing part; providing a skeleton, wherein the skeleton comprises one of the one or more reinforcement members configured as a peripherally extending ring projecting from the skeleton and through the sealing part, wherein the skeleton comprises a body portion arranged between the attachment part and said one of the one or more reinforcement members, wherein the body portion defines a plurality of apertures, wherein the skeleton is at least partly over-molded to form at least one of the sealing part and the sleeve, and wherein over-molded material of the at least one of the sealing part and the sleeve is disposed within the apertures and on two sides of the body portion, thereby fixedly attaching the at least one of the sealing part and the sleeve to the body portion, wherein at least one of the sleeve and the sealing part are made from a material that is softer than a material of said one or more reinforcement members.
