What is claimed is: 1. An electric vehicle comprising: a chassis frame; a battery pack including a support structure vertically spaced at least in-part from the chassis frame; a first brace extending between and engaged to the chassis frame and the support structure; and a second brace extending between and engaged to the chassis frame, the second brace and the first brace being oppositely angled, wherein the first and second braces each include opposite first and second end portions with the first end portions engaged to the chassis frame and the second end portions engaged to the support structure, and wherein the second end portions are spaced closer to one-another than the first end portions. 2. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 1 , wherein the chassis frame includes first and second suspension mounts, the first and second braces are engaged to the chassis frame proximate to corresponding ones of the first and second suspension mounts. 3. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 1 , wherein first and second braces are engaged to side rails of the chassis frame. 4. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 3 , wherein the first and second braces are engaged to a rearward cross component of the battery pack. 5. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 4 , wherein the rearward cross component is spaced below the side rails. 6. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 5 , wherein the side rails are rearward side rails. 7. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 2 , wherein the first and second braces are engaged to a rearward cross component of the battery pack spaced below the chassis frame. 8. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 7 , wherein the chassis frame includes a rearward cross member engaged to and spanning between rearward side rails of the chassis frame proximate to the suspension mounts. 9. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 8 , wherein the rearward cross member is spaced above the rearward cross component. 10. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 9 , wherein the rearward cross member is substantially aligned to the rearward cross component. 11. The electric vehicle set forth in claim 1 , wherein the support structure is disposed below the chassis frame. 12. A truss beam for an electric vehicle having suspension mounts, the truss beam comprising: a chassis frame; an energy storage unit support structure at least in-part spaced vertically from the chassis frame; a first brace spanning substantially vertically between the chassis frame and the energy storage unit support structure, the first brace including a first end portion engaged to the chassis frame and a second end portion engaged to the energy storage unit support structure; and a second brace spanning substantially vertically between the chassis frame and the energy storage unit support structure, the second brace include a first end portion engaged to the chassis frame and a second end portion engaged to the energy storage unit support structure, and wherein a first distance measured between the first end portions is substantially different than a second distance measured between the second end portions. 13. The truss beam set forth in claim 12 , wherein the second end portions are engaged to a cross component of the energy storage unit support structure. 14. The truss beam set forth in claim 13 , wherein the chassis frame includes a first suspension mount and a second suspension mount, the first and second suspension mounts being carried by rearward side rails of the chassis frame. 15. The truss beam set forth in claim 14 , wherein the first end portions are proximate to the suspension mounts carried by the chassis frame. 16. The truss beam set forth in claim 12 , wherein the chassis frame is disposed above the energy storage unit support structure. 17. The truss beam set forth in claim 16 , wherein the first distance is greater than the second distance. 18. The truss beam set forth in claim 13 , wherein the first end portions are proximate to the suspension mounts carried by the chassis frame.
