Disclosed herein, inter alia, are acyclic nucleotide analogs and methods of using an acyclic nucleotide analog for treating and/or ameliorating a papillomavirus infection.

What is claimed is: 1. A compound of Formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; wherein B 1 is Z 1 and Z 2 are oxygen; R 1 is —(CHR 4 ) a —O—C 1-24 alkyl; R 2 is aryl(C 1-4 alkyl)—; R 3 is selected from C 1-6 alkyl and C 3-6 cycloalkyl; R 4 is hydrogen; and a is selected from 1, 2, 3, or 4. 2. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 3 is methyl. 3. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 1 is —(CHR 4 ) a —O—C 1-24 alkyl; R 4 is hydrogen; and a is 2. 4. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 2 is benzyl. 5. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 1 is —(CHR 4 ) a —O—C 1-24 alkyl; R 4 is hydrogen; and a is 2 or 3. 6. The compound of claim 5 , wherein R 1 is —(CH 2 ) 2 O—(CH 2 ) 17 CH 3 . 7. The compound of claim 6 , wherein R 2 is benzyl. 8. The compound of claim 5 , wherein R 1 is —(CH 2 ) 3 O—(CH 2 ) 15 CH 3 . 9. The compound of claim 8 , wherein R 2 is benzyl. 10. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising a compound of claim 1 , optionally in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 11. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising a compound of claim 2 , optionally in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 12. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising a compound of claim 3 , optionally in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 13. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising a compound of claim 5 , optionally in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 14. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising a compound of claim 6 , optionally in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 15.
