A vehicle lamp has a housing for holding a circuit board, and a gasket mounted on the housing to waterproof the circuit board. A fastening portion is provided on the gasket to fasten the circuit board to the housing. A lid member is provided which is connected to the housing to fasten the gasket.

The invention claimed is: 1. A vehicle lamp comprising: a housing for holding a circuit board; and a gasket mounted on the housing to waterproof the circuit board, wherein a fastening portion is provided on the gasket to fasten the circuit board to the housing, wherein the fastening portion is a projection which projects towards the circuit board, wherein an engaging projecting portion is provided in a position on the gasket which lies further outwards of the fastening portion, the engaging projecting portion projecting in the same direction as the direction in which the fastening portion projects and being brought into engagement with the housing, wherein a fastened projecting portion is provided on the gasket, the fastening projecting portion projecting in an opposite direction to the direction in which the fastening portion projects and being fastened by the lid member, wherein a fitting projecting portion is provided on the housing, the fitting projecting portion projecting in the same direction as the direction in which the fastened projecting portion projects, and wherein a fitting recess portion is formed directly below the fastened projecting portion in the gasket for the fitting projecting portion to be fitted therein. 2. The vehicle lamp according to claim 1 , wherein a lid member is provided which is connected to the housing to fasten the gasket. 3. The vehicle lamp according to claim 1 , wherein a light emitting element is mounted on the circuit board, wherein a light guiding lens that is a light guide is provided which is configured to guide light emitted from the light emitting element in a predetermined direction, and wherein the housing and the light guiding lens are formed integrally. 4. The vehicle lamp according to claim 2 , wherein a direction in which the gasket is mounted on the housing and a direction in which the lid member is connected to the housing are the same. 5. The vehicle lamp according to claim 2 , wherein a light emitting element is mounted on the circuit board, wherein a light guiding lens that is a light guide is provided which is configured to guide light emitted from the light emitting element in a predetermined direction, and wherein the housing and the light guiding lens are formed integrally. 6. The vehicle lamp according to claim 3 , wherein the light guiding member is configured to guide light to be emitted in a direction substantially perpendicular to a surface of the circuit board that contacts the fastening portion.
