What is claimed is: 1. A kit comprising: a disposable tape configured for application to a body contacting surface for the prevention or treatment of an injury to an individual, and a double sided pressure sensitive adhesive, wherein said tape comprising; a first continuous layer having a bottom and top surface, a second layer disposed on the top surface of the first layer, wherein the second layer comprises a plurality of force absorbing zones, and a discontinuity disposed between each of the plurality of force absorbing zones, each discontinuity having a bottom surface and a flexion space between the at least two force absorbing zones; wherein flexing of said force absorbing zones about a first discontinuity allows motion of the body contacting surface; a plurality of tear lines formed from perforations in the second layer, wherein said plurality of tear lines are positioned between adjacent force absorbing zones; the double-sided pressure sensitive adhesive having a first adhesive side configured to attach to the bottom surface of the first continuous layer and a second adhesive side configured to attach to the body contacting surface; wherein said disposable tape is would in overlapping relationship upon itself; and instructions for applying said disposable tape to a body contacting surface and reapplying said disposable tape with a portion of said double sided adhesive. 2. The kit of claim 1 , wherein said double sided pressure sensitive adhesive further comprises a protective paper removably attached to a surface of the pressure sensitive double-sided adhesive. 3. The kit of claim 2 , further comprising instructions for reapplying the protective paper to the surface of the double-sided pressure sensitive adhesive. 4. The kit of claim 1 , further comprising a pre-application wipe and instructions for preparing the body contacting surface prior to application of said disposable tape. 5. The kit of claim 4 , wherein said pre-application wipe is selected from the group consisting of a moist towelette, a cleansing wipe, and an alcohol wipe. 6. The kit of claim 1 , wherein each force absorbing zone has a base with side walls extending therefrom, and wherein the base is secured to the top surface of the first layer and the flexion space is located between side walls of adjacent force absorbing zones. 7. The kit of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of force absorbing zones comprise a foam material selected from the group consisting of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyethylene (PE), or combinations thereof.
