The invention claimed is: 1. An annular multi-piece insert device for an ophthalmic lens, the multi-piece insert comprising: a first insert back curve piece, wherein the first insert back curve piece is shaped into at least a portion of a first annular shape having an inner peripheral edge and an outer peripheral edge; a first insert front curve piece, wherein the first insert front curve piece is shaped into at least a portion of a second annular shape having an inner peripheral edge and an outer peripheral edge; a conductive material upon one or both of the first insert front curve piece and the first insert back curve piece; an electronic component attached to one or both of the first insert front curve piece and the first insert back curve piece, wherein an attachment is made at least in part to the conductive material; and a first sealing material located on a surface of one or both of the first insert front curve piece and the first insert back curve piece; wherein the first insert front curve piece and the first insert back curve piece comprise a first ophthalmic insert piece; wherein the first sealing material is capable of sealing a first cavity interior to the first ophthalmic insert piece; and wherein the inner peripheral edge of the first insert front curve piece and the inner peripheral edge of the first insert back curve piece overlap to form an inner edge seal and the outer peripheral edge of the first insert front curve piece and the outer peripheral edge of the first insert back curve piece overlap to form an outer edge seal. 2. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 additionally comprising: a second insert back curve piece, wherein the second insert back curve piece is shaped into at least a portion of a third annular shape; and a second sealing material located on one or both of the first insert front curve piece and the second insert back curve piece, wherein the first insert front curve piece, the first insert back curve piece, and the second insert back curve piece comprise a second ophthalmic insert piece, and wherein the second sealing material is capable of sealing a second cavity interior to the second ophthalmic insert piece. 3. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 wherein: the first cavity contains the electronic component. 4. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 wherein: the electronic component is exterior to the sealed first cavity. 5. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 additionally comprising: a sensing element located along a periphery of the first insert front curve piece. 6. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 additionally comprising: a medicament pump and reservoir placed along a periphery of the first insert front curve piece. 7. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 additionally comprising: a sensing element located on a first surface of the first insert front curve piece. 8. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 wherein: the first sealing material comprises a first preformed shape, wherein one or both the first annular shape and second annular shape accommodates the first preformed shape. 9. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 wherein: a mechanical contact between the first sealing material and a first portion of one or both the first insert back curve piece and the first insert front curve piece forms a first seal. 10. The multi-piece insert device of claim 9 additionally comprising: an adhesive, wherein the adhesive is capable of forming a second seal between at least a portion of both the first insert front curve piece and the first insert back curve piece; and wherein the second seal is capable of maintaining physical contact of at least a portion of one or both the first insert back curve piece and the first insert front curve piece to the first sealing material. 11. The multi-piece insert device of claim 9 additionally comprising: a self-locking feature, wherein the self-locking feature is capable of maintaining physical contact of at least a portion of either or both the first insert back curve piece and the first insert front curve piece to the first sealing material. 12. The multi-piece insert device of claim 11 wherein: the self-locking feature fixedly holds the first insert back curve piece in a relative position to the first insert front curve piece. 13. The multi-piece insert device of claim 2 , additionally comprising: the first insert back curve piece includes a first self-locking feature; and the second insert back curve piece includes a second self-locking feature, wherein the first self-locking feature is capable of interlocking with the second self-locking feature. 14. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 additionally comprising: a sealing agent, wherein at least a portion of the electronic component includes the sealing agent after attachment of the electronic component to the conductive material. 15. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 additionally comprising: a sealing agent, wherein at least a portion of the conductive material includes the sealing agent. 16. The multi-piece insert device of claim 2 additionally comprising: a sealing agent, wherein at least a portion of the conductive material includes the sealing agent. 17. The multi-piece insert device of claim 1 , wherein the multi-piece insert device is encapsulated within an ophthalmic lens, and wherein the ophthalmic lens includes an encapsulating layer, wherein the encapsulating layer comprises a polymerized Reactive Mixture. 18. The multi-piece insert device of claim 2 , wherein the multi-piece insert device is encapsulated within an ophthalmic lens, wherein an encapsulating layer comprises a polymerized Reactive Mixture. 19. The multi-piece insert device of claim 17 wherein: the multi-piece insert comprises a colorant pattern contained within the encapsulating layer. 20. The multi-piece insert device of claim 18 additionally comprising: an energization component located within the first cavity, wherein the energization component is in electrical communication with the electronic component. 21. The multi-piece insert device of claim 20 additionally comprising: a sensing element in electrical communication with the energization component, wherein the sensing element is located within the first cavity.
