Also, a method and a kit for the in vitro diagnosis of Lyme borreliosis using said proteins.

The invention claimed is: 1. A chimeric polypeptide comprising (i) a first amino acid sequence comprising any of the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID Nos: 1, 3, 5 and 6, and (ii) a second amino acid sequence comprising any of the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID Nos: 2, 4 and 7. 2. The polypeptide as claimed in claim 1 , comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2. 3. The polypeptide as claimed in claim 1 , comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2. 4. The polypeptide as claimed in claim 1 , comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 5 and SEQ ID NO: 7. 5. The polypeptide as claimed in claim 1 , comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 6 and SEQ ID NO: 7. 6. The polypeptide as claimed in claim 1 , comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 5, SEQ ID NO: 6, and SEQ ID NO: 7. 7. A diagnostic kit comprising the polypeptide as claimed in claim 1 . 8.
