A cable exercise machine includes a first pull cable and a second pull cable incorporated into a frame. Each of the first pull cable and the second pull cable are linked to at least one resistance mechanism. The at least one resistance mechanism includes a flywheel and a magnetic unit arranged to resist movement of the flywheel.

What is claimed is: 1. A cable exercise machine comprising: a frame; a first pull cable, a second pull cable, a third pull cable, and a fourth pull cable incorporated into the frame; a resistance mechanism linked to the first pull cable, the second pull cable, the third pull cable, and the fourth pull cable, the resistance mechanism comprising: a central shaft; a flywheel connected to the central shaft; revolution magnets configured to rotate with the flywheel; and resistance magnets arranged to selectively resist rotation of the flywheel; a magnetic sensor configured to count the revolution magnets as they rotate to track a number of partial revolutions of the flywheel; and a control panel configured to receive as input a level of magnetic resistance exerted on the flywheel by the resistance magnets and the number of partial revolutions of the flywheel to calculate an amount of work performed during a workout by pulling on any of the first pull cable, the second pull cable, the third pull cable, and the fourth pull cable, the control panel including an output device configured to present the calculated amount of work performed during the workout. 2. The cable exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein: the magnetic sensor is configured to count the revolution magnets as they rotate to track a number of quarter revolutions of the flywheel; and the control panel is configured to receive as input the number of quarter revolutions of the flywheel to calculate the amount of work performed during the workout. 3. The cable exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the output device is configured to present the calculated amount of work performed during the workout by presenting a calculated number of calories burned during the workout. 4. The cable exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein: a first handle end of the first pull cable is routed to an upper right location of the frame, a second handle end of the second pull cable is routed to in an upper left location of the frame, a third handle end of the third pull cable is routed to a lower right location of the frame, and a fourth handle end of the fourth pull cable is routed to a lower left location of the frame; and the flywheel is positioned between the upper right location, the upper left location, the lower right location, and the lower left location. 5. The cable exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein: the control panel further includes an input device; the control panel is in communication with the resistance mechanism; the input device is configured to allow a user to select the level of magnetic resistance exerted on the flywheel by the resistance magnets; the output device is configured to provide an indication of the selected level of magnetic resistance; and the control panel is configured to execute a pre-programmed workout. 6. The cable exercise machine of claim 5 , wherein the input device includes a dial. 7. The cable exercise machine of claim 1 , further comprising multiple tensioner pulleys configured to reduce slack in the first pull cable and the second pull cable. 8. The cable exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the resistance mechanism further comprises: a cross bar spanning from a first side to a second side of the frame and an assembly member supported by the cross bar, oriented perpendicularly to the cross bar, and defining an opening through which the central shaft is inserted and supported; and multiple cable spools coaxially mounted around the central shaft next to one another on only a single side of the flywheel. 9. The cable exercise machine of claim 8 , wherein: the flywheel includes a magnetically conductive rim; the resistance mechanism further comprises a fixture and an arm pivotally connected to the fixture; the arm is coupled to a u-shaped bracket having two sides; the two sides define an open slot; the first side houses a first set of the resistance magnets on the first side of the open slot; the second side houses a second set of the resistance magnets on the second side of the open slot; the first set of the resistance magnets and the second set of the resistance magnets are configured to provide a magnetic flux to the magnetically conductive rim of the flywheel when the magnetically conductive rim of the flywheel is positioned in the open slot; the arm is configured to pivot, relative to the frame and relative to the flywheel, to change the magnetic flux provided by the first set of the resistance magnets and the second set of the resistance magnets in the open slot through which the flywheel rotates and thereby alter the level of magnetic resistance exerted on the flywheel by the first set of the resistance magnets and the second set of the resistance magnets; and the arm is configured to pivot between: an upper limit in which no portion of the magnetically conductive rim of the flywheel is surrounded by the first set of the resistance magnets and the second set of the resistance magnets within the open slot; a lower limit in which at least a portion of the magnetically conductive rim of the flywheel is surrounded by the first set of the resistance magnets and the second set of the resistance magnets within the open slot; and multiple incremental positions between the upper limit and the lower limit. 10. The cable exercise machine of claim 9 , wherein as the arm pivots between the upper limit and the lower limit, the first set of the resistance magnets and the second set of the resistance magnets are moved toward or away from the magnetically conductive rim of the flywheel with a linear actuator. 11. The cable exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein as the control panel includes connections configured for communication with a user device. 12. The cable exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein output device is further configured to present whether a pull of any of the first pull cable, the second pull cable, the third pull cable, and the fourth pull cable is a partial pull or a full length pull. 13. A cable exercise system comprising: a frame; a first pull cable, a second pull cable, a third pull cable, and a fourth pull cable incorporated into the frame; a resistance mechanism linked to the first pull cable, the second pull cable, the third pull cable, and the fourth pull cable, the resistance mechanism comprising: a central shaft; a flywheel connected to the central shaft; revolution magnets configured to rotate with the flywheel; and resistance magnets arranged to selectively resist rotation of the flywheel; a magnetic sensor configured to track the revolution magnets as they rotate to track a number of partial revolutions of the flywheel; a processor and a memory storing a counter and an energy tracker that are configured to be executed by the processor, the counter configured to count the number of partial revolutions of the flywheel, the energy tracker configured to calculate a number of calories burned by rotating the flywheel; and a control panel including an output device configured to present the calculated number of calories burned. 14. The cable exercise system of claim 13 , wherein: the processor and the memory are located in a user device that is remote from the control panel; and the processor of the user device is configured to communicate with the control panel over a network connection. 15. The cable exercise system of claim 13 , wherein the counter and/or the energy tracker are downloadable to the control panel through a portable flash memory. 16.
