Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A light-emitting element containing a fluorescent material and having high emission efficiency is provided. The light-emitting element contains the fluorescent material and a host material. The host material contains a first organic compound and a second organic compound. The first organic compound and the second organic compound can form an exciplex. The proportion of a delayed fluorescence component in light emitted from the exciplex is higher than or equal to 5%, and the delayed fluorescence component contains a delayed fluorescence component whose fluorescence lifetime is 10 ns or longer and 50 μs or shorter.

What is claimed is: 1. A light-emitting element comprising: a host material comprising a first organic compound and a second organic compound; and a fluorescent material as a guest material, wherein the first organic compound is capable of forming an exciplex with the second organic compound, wherein emission of the exciplex includes a delayed fluorescence component, wherein a proportion of the delayed fluorescence component is higher than or equal to 5% in the emission of the exciplex, wherein the delayed fluorescence component includes a first delayed fluorescence component, and wherein lifetime of the first delayed fluorescence component is 10 ns or longer and 50 ps or shorter, and wherein a weight ratio of the fluorescent material to the host material is greater than or equal to 0.001 and less than or equal to 0.05. 2. The light-emitting element according to claim 1 , wherein the exciplex is capable of transferring excited energy to the fluorescent material. 3. The light-emitting element according to claim 1 , wherein an emission spectrum of the exciplex comprises a region overlapping with an absorption band on the lowest energy side of the fluorescent material. 4. The light-emitting element according to claim 1 , wherein the first organic compound has an electron transporting property, and wherein the second organic compound has a hole transporting property. 5. The light-emitting element according to claim 1 , wherein the first organic compound contains a π-electron deficient heteroaromatic ring skeleton, and wherein the second organic compound contains a π-electron rich heteroaromatic ring skeleton or an aromatic amine skeleton. 6. A display device comprising: the light-emitting element according to claim 1 ; and a color filter or a transistor. 7. An electronic device comprising: the display device according to claim 6 ; and a housing or a touch sensor. 8. A lighting device comprising: the light-emitting element according to claim 1 ; and a housing or a touch sensor. 9. A light-emitting element comprising: a light-emitting layer comprising: a host material comprising a first organic compound and a second organic compound; and a fluorescent material as a guest material, wherein the first organic compound is capable of forming an exciplex with the second organic compound, wherein emission of the exciplex includes a delayed fluorescence component, wherein a proportion of the delayed fluorescence component is higher than or equal to 5% in the emission of the exciplex, wherein the delayed fluorescence component includes a first delayed fluorescence component, wherein lifetime of the first delayed fluorescence component is 10 ns or longer and 50 ps or shorter, and wherein one of the first organic compound and the second organic compound contains a heteroaromatic ring skeleton, and wherein a weight ratio of the fluorescent material to a sum of the first organic compound and the second organic compound is greater than or equal to 0.001 and less than or equal to 0.05. 10. The light-emitting element according to claim 9 , wherein the exciplex is capable of transferring excited energy to the fluorescent material. 11. The light-emitting element according to claim 9 , wherein an emission spectrum of the exciplex comprises a region overlapping with an absorption band on the lowest energy side of the fluorescent material. 12. The light-emitting element according to claim 9 , wherein the first organic compound has an electron transporting property, and wherein the second organic compound has a hole transporting property. 13.
