In some aspects, a modular analyte measurement system having a replaceable strip port module is provided to permit contaminated modules to be replaced. Some aspects of the present disclosure related to barriers for strip ports or the sealing of strip ports and/or analyte measurement devices to maintain a clean strip port and/or enable the strip port to be cleaned for reuse. Cleaning tools are also provided. Also provided are strip port interfaces that guide fluid away from the strip port opening, as well as absorptive elements that prevent fluid from entering a strip port. Analyte measurement devices with gravity sensors or accelerometers are also provided, along with methods related thereto. Also provided are docking station that serve as an information server and provides storage and recharging capabilities.

What is claimed is: 1. An analyte measurement system, comprising: an analyte meter having a meter housing and a processing circuit disposed within the housing; and a replaceable strip port module having a module housing, wherein the module housing includes an interface aperture, an analyte test strip port, and an electrical interface comprising a plurality of contacts coupled to the analyte test strip port that electrically mate to the analyte meter through the interface aperture of the module housing. 2. The analyte measurement system of claim 1 , further comprising an attachment feature to removably attach the replaceable strip port module to the analyte meter. 3. The analyte measurement system of claim 1 , wherein the module housing fits within an aperture in the meter housing. 4. The analyte measurement system of claim 3 , wherein the module housing includes external alignment features to align the module housing within the aperture in the meter housing. 5. The analyte measurement system of claim 3 , wherein the meter housing includes alignment features to align the module housing within the aperture in the meter housing. 6. The analyte measurement system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of contacts are a plurality of contact pads configured to couple to electrical connections within the meter housing. 7. The analyte measurement system of claim 1 , wherein the electrical interface includes a plurality of pins to couple to a pin header within the meter housing. 8. The analyte measurement system of claim 1 , wherein the electrical interface includes an edge connector to couple to a corresponding edge connector within the meter housing. 9. The analyte measurement system of claim 1 , wherein the module housing further includes a first aperture that receives an analyte test strip disposed within the module housing. 10. A replaceable strip port module for use in a modular analyte measurement system, comprising: a housing, wherein the housing includes an interface aperture; an analyte test strip port; an electrical interface coupled to the analyte test strip port, wherein the electrical interface comprises a plurality of contacts and is configured to electrically mate to an analyte meter through the interface aperture of the housing; and a cap, wherein the cap includes an aperture sized to receive an analyte test strip. 11. The replaceable strip port module of claim 10 , wherein the housing further comprises internal alignment features to align the analyte test strip port within the housing. 12. The replaceable strip port module of claim 10 , wherein the housing further comprises external alignment features to align the replaceable strip port module within an analyte meter in the analyte measurement system. 13. The replaceable strip port module of claim 10 , wherein the plurality of contacts are a plurality of contact pads configured to couple to electrical connections within an analyte meter. 14. The replaceable strip port module of claim 10 , wherein the electrical interface includes a plurality of pins to couple to a pin header within an analyte meter. 15. The replaceable strip port module of claim 10 , wherein the electrical interface includes an edge connector to couple with a corresponding edge connector within an analyte meter. 16. The replaceable strip port module of claim 10 , wherein the cap includes an indented region on a surface of the cap. 17. The replaceable strip port module of claim 10 , wherein a cap gasket is provided as a seal between the cap and an analyte meter. 18. The replaceable strip port module of claim 17 , wherein a second cap gasket is provided as a seal between the cap and the housing. 19. The replaceable strip port module of claim 10 , wherein a single cap gasket is provided as a seal between the cap, the housing, and an analyte meter. 20. The replaceable strip port module of claim 10 , wherein the housing further includes an open end, wherein the analyte test strip port is disposed within the open end of the housing. 21. The replaceable strip port module of claim 20 , wherein the cap covers the open end of the housing, and wherein the aperture is aligned with the analyte test strip port such that when an analyte test strip is inserted into the aperture, the analyte test strip is inserted into the analyte test strip port.
